“The driving force in the religion of the Arabs has a formidable simplicity; it is to obey Allah and compel the infidels to obey Him. The Holy War becomes a moral obligation and its own reward.”

—Historian Henri Pirenne

T he answer to the above question (title) is simple: for believing in Jesus Christ as the Son of God. Worse still, as the late Ahmed Deedat, one of the foremost Islamic spokesmen in the world (according to them, that is) declared in his open debate in England’s Royal Albert Hall (1986, with Dr. A.A. Shorrosh - I have the actual video event) : “...the Holy Qur’an says, ‘That whosoever says that Jesus Christ, the Son of Mary, is God is an act of blasphemy. It is treason against God”. May I ask who set Deedat or any other Muslim up to be our judge? Talk about hubris!

Well, Christians are put to death for believing that Jesus IS the Son of God and that Jesus IS God. The irony of it all is that their book (Qur’an) speaks good things about Jesus (except that He was not, Is not God’s Son etc.) Before I get into detail in this article, let me mention that the Muslims do believe in miracles- both God and Jesus performed them according to their book. They also believe that both God and Jesus are Creators, which brings me to the point I need to make about Jesus BEING God’s Only Begotten Son.

Deedat, in his “Is Jesus God?” debate says: “I am asking, please explain to me what you (Shorrosh) are trying to emphasize. What are you really trying to tell me? Believe me, no Christian in 40 years has been able to open his mouth to tell me what ‘begotten’ means, until I met an American, He said it meant sired by God. I said, What! God sired a son?” For the record, this braggart didn’t define “begotten” either.

Along with “Jesus is not the Son of God” debate, the Trinity (tri-unity is better) must be dealt with, since Jesus is the second person in the Godhead- Father, Son, Holy Ghost. As Christian doctrine, the deity of Christ Jesus and the Tri-unity are inseparable. The Muslims also reject Jesus’ deity..

For the record, the Christians’ spirit-mind is totally different from the Muslims carnal-mind. When John 1:18/3:16 uses the phrase “only begotten” Son of God, Muslims misconstrue this in a fleshly, carnal, natural sense of childbearing. To their mind it implies a physical act. Since God is Spirit (no body) it is impossible to beget a son. Deedat claimed “it is an animal act. We do not attribute such an act to God”. In the Islamic mind, “begetting is creating” and God cannot create another God...” “He cannot create another uncreated”, Deedat declares.

Well, no orthodox Christian believes that “begot” is to be equated with “made” or “create”. Abdu’l-Ahad Dawud, in his book Muhammad in the Bible (1979), states from a “Muslim point of belief the Christian dogma concerning the eternal birth or generation of the Son is blasphemy” (p.205).

This “Only Begotten” phrase can rightly be translated, “One and Only” Son. It does not imply creation by the Father but “unique” relation to Him.

If we wanted to use the word “create”, we could relate to the Virgin birth- this could be a created miracle (which it was), a virgin being impregnated by the Holy Ghost (or Spirit), A physical baby without a physical sex act.

Why are Christians murdered by Muslims for believing in Jesus since Islam teaches the miraculous conception (see Surat al-Tahrim (Banning) 66:12) where it states, “...We breathed therein something of our Spirit...”; a miraculous birth (see Qur’an, Surat Maryam (Mary) 19:19-21): “He said, I am only a messenger of thy Lord, that I may bestow on thee a faultless son... it will be that we may make of him a revelation for mankind and a mercy from us...”

Muslim scholar Al Baidawi pointed out (in the Person of Christ), “That distinction sets Christ apart from other humans and messengers, because He (Jesus) was born without any human embrace or relationship”.

We ask, why is it so hard to believe that Jesus is God’s Son? You Muslims already believe in miracles. Since you claim that God is Holy, Divine, Spirit, sinless, having a Son- a miraculous conception and birth- that bears the same (spiritual) DNA, if you will, will make Jesus like His Father.

Baidawi expounded on the statement, “We may make of Him (Jesus), a revelation for mankind”, meaning “We make His birth a sign to mankind, as He was born without a father”; and “a mercy from us” means “mankind will be blessed by the manifestation of these signs for they will be overwhelming indications of His truthfulness and will make the acceptance of His Word more likely.”

Truthfulness? Why don’t Muslims believe Jesus’ very own words, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me” (Jn 14:6). We Christians are ashamed of the way Muslims treat Jesus and His followers; they don’t believe that He is the WAY-TRUTH-LIFE, although they claim to believe what their books say about Him. In practice they will not obey His command to repent and be born-again and also put to death those who do! Where is your love-respect-peace??

Since your books do record Jesus’ miracles (your prophet never did ONE!), is having a “Son” any harder than Jesus, as a baby in a cradle, speaking? (See Surat Maryam (Mary) 19:29, 30 and Abd Al-Fadi, p. 18 in his book, the Person of Christ). Their book also records that Jesus imparted life into a clay bird (see Surat al-Ma’idah (The Table Spread) 5:110) “...and how Thou didst shape of clay as it were the likeness of a bird by my permission...”

Well, we Christians do believe in miracles, but nowhere do we find in Holy Scriptures Jesus speaking wisdom as a new born and imparting life into a clay bird.

My point is this, why is it impossible for God to have a Son without a physical act?

We find the two mentioned Islamic miracles, as fables. The “First Gospel of the Infancy of Jesus Christ”, which is a second-century Arabic apocryphal fable from Egypt is the source for this Qur’anic fable: “...Jesus spoke even when he was in the cradle, and said to his mother: ‘Mary, I am Jesus the Son of God. That word which thou didst bring forth according to the declaration of the angel...’”

WHAT??? ‘I AM Jesus, the SON OF GOD”??? yet Muslims put Christians to DEATH for believing Jesus is the Son of God! While it is true that Jesus is the Son of God, there is no record in any of Christian literature that records Jesus saying this as an infant to His mother.

According to Surat al-Imran ( the Family of ‘Imran) 2:49 we read: “And will make Him a messenger unto the children of Israel, (saying): ‘Lo! I come unto you with a sign from your Lord. Lo! I fashion for you out of clay the likeness of a bird, and I breath into it and it is a bird, by Allah’s leave’.”

This too is found in the second century Arabic apocryphal fable from Egypt which reads” “Then he took from the bank of the stream some soft clay, and formed out of it 12 sparrows...then Jesus clapping together the palms of his hands, called to the sparrows, and said to them: ‘Go, fly away’”.

According to Islamic tradition, different fragments of the Qur’an were revealed to the prophet verbatim by the angel Gabriel over a period of 23 years (Q 25:32; 17:106). After each occasion the prophet would recite the words of revelation (this the word “Qur’an”). Other times he would write down revelations. We may ask, did the angel reveal the two second century fables to the prophet? We also wonder about the contradictions and abrogations, since Muslim apologists argue for “divine origin” of the Qur’an. Qur’an 18:1 states: “Praise be to God who hath sent to His Servant the Book, and hath allowed therein no crookedness”. Really??

Another claim is that the Qur’an is a “clear argument” (Al-Burhan) or “Light” (an-Nur) or “the explanation” (al-Bayan) (see Alhaj A.D. Ajijola’s The Essence of Faith in Islam, 1978, p.104). I suggest that these PC dupes go to the Qur’an (esp. the Hadiths) and let it illuminate your mind) see if what I write about war/terror etc. is not there and explained.

After its introduction (sura 1), the Qur’an begins with this: “This is the book: In it is guidance sure, without doubt, to those who fear God (Allah)” - Q 2:2, Ali’s footnote states (after referring to our Bible (Proverbs 1:7 in the OT) that 2:2 is speaking of restraint, or guarding one’s tongue, hand, and heart from evil, hence, righteousness, piety, etc. But what Muslims call good conduct, piety etc. is not what the Holy Bible says about them; for them, murdering/terrorizing the non-Muslim is “good conduct”. Within the Qur-an’s 114 chapters, one will encounter women’s inferiority, wife scourging, slavery, war, terrorism, killing apostates, etc.

We have already seen where the Qur’an records the infant Jesus speaking (Q19:29-31), which was taken from the First Gospel of the Infancy of Jesus Christ, a second century Arabic fable (Egypt): “But she pointed to the babe, they said: “How can we talk to one who is a child in the cradle?” He said: “I am indeed a servant of God: He hath given me revelation and made me a prophet; And He hath made me blessed wheresoever I be, and hath enjoined on me prayer and charity as long as I live.... so peace is on me the day I was born, the day that I die, and the day that I shall be raised up to life again. Such was Jesus the son of Mary: it is a statement of truth, about which they vainly dispute” (I’ve added vv. 33, 34).

The Egyptian fable has, “Mary, I am Jesus the Son of God...”,. which it is obvious that the writer believed Jesus WAS God’s Son. But notice that the Qur’an leaves this out (of course!) But records Jesus speaking as an infant.

Since the Qur’an records that Jesus Himself stated that He was to have “peace” - birth, life upon earth, death, and resurrection life - this brings us to compare Jesus the Prophet of God to Muhammad the prophet of god.

I left this verse out so I could quote from Ali’s commentary footnote about being “overbearing or miserable”, as v. 32 mentions: “He hath made me kind to my mother, and not overbearing and miserable” (note 2484) Ali writes: “Overbearing violence is not only unjust and harmful to those on whom it is practiced: it is perhaps even more harmful to the person who practices it, for his soul becomes turbid, unsettled, unhappy and wretched, - the state of those in hell...” Well now, isn’t that something! Here we have a renown Muslim telling us (and the Muslims) not to be overbearing and miserable, characterizing those who are in Hell. My question is this: “Why don’t all Muslims practice what their (a portion) book portrays as a good quality?” - PEACE. Jesus practiced peace: He never physically assaulted or murdered anyone in His lifetime, unlike Islam’s prophet, who did plenty of evil.

This title proves Jesus’ peacefulness. John the Baptists said of Him, “...Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world” (Jn 1:29, 36). Jesus was and is the spotless Lamb (as Peter wrote in 1 Peter 1:19) provided by God to be sacrificed in the place of sinners (see Ex 12:3-17; Isa 53:7). There is no salvation in Muhammad. Revelation 5:12 speaks of Jesus, “Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honor, and glory, and blessing”. Where do we find anything in Islam’s Muhammad like this?

John called Him “Jesus the Righteous” (1 Jn 2:1; 3:7). Paul wrote that Jesus the Christ knew no sin (2 Cor 5:21), unlike Muhammad who needed forgiveness because he was sinful! The writer of Hebrews said of Jesus that He was tempted “yet without sinning” (Heb 4:15). Even Jesus challenged His accusers, “which of you convicts me of sin?” (Jn 8:46). He WAS (IS!) A man of “Peace”. He forbid retaliation on one’s enemies (Mt 5:38-42) and unlike Islam’s prophet, He never used the sword to spread His Gospel message (Mt. 26:52). He had compassion, not HATRED for mankind as Islam teaches (although we do find “peaceful” suras, but those have been replaced (abrogated) with /dar al-Harb/ Kufr - the house of War! Why do Muslims (deliberately) hid this major Islamic doctrine called al-Nasikh Wal-Mansoukh (the Abrogator and the Abrogated)? What am I saying? I’m saying that those “peaceful” verses in the Qur’an - Muslims love to spout - have been replaced with “sword” verses. Of course this is a hush-hush. Muslims do not want us to know this, therefore these silly Western preachers/politicians and liberal journalists, who continually spout “peace”, are in reality propagating a DECEPTION/DELUSION.

This deception, disinformation is based on two verses that Allah “allegedly” instructed the (false) prophet to put into their book: “None of our revelations do we abrogate or cause to be forgotten, but we substitute something better or similar: knowest thou not that Allah hath power over all things?” - Surah 2:106; “When we substitute one revelation for another, and Allah knows best what he reveals (in stages), they say, “Thou art but a forger’ but most of them understand not”. - Surah 16:101

So, what does A.Y. Ali’s Commentary have to say about these two verses? Ali says, in part, “...What is the meaning here? If we take it in a general sense, it means that God’s message from age to age is always the same, but that its form may differ according to the needs and exigencies of the time. That form was different as given to Moses and then to Jesus and then to Muhammad. Some commentators apply it also to the Ayat of the Qur’an. There is nothing derogatory in this if we believe in progressive revelation. In 3:7 we are told distinctly about the Qur’an, that some of its verse are basic or fundamental, and others are allegorical, and it is mischievous to treat the allegorical verses and follow them (literally). On the other hand, it is absurd to treat such a verse as 2:115 as if it were abrogated by 2:144 about the Qibia”. This is footnote 107.

Ali continues: “There may be expressed abrogation, or there may be ‘causing or permitting to forget!’” How many good and wise institutions gradually become obsolete by a flux of time? Then there is the gradual, process of disuse or forgetting in evolution...”

Ah, yes, “disuse”. When Muhammad began his (supposed) prophetship in Mecca, he taught/preached “peace”. These verses were at the very early stages of his message - those verses we find (still in the Qur’an) speak of peace, tolerance and patience. But after he left Mecca (in flight) for Medina (where he stayed for some years - raised up an army), went back to Mecca to begin his “holy war”, i.e. Jihad!, these “peaceful” activities fail to tell us that those “peace” verses fell into DISUSE!!! Replacing them are the sword/jihad verses that incite murder, terrorism and intolerance towards ALL non-Muslim peoples. So, the latter surahs/verses were penned while the prophet headquartered in Medina. Since Surahs (chapters) of the Qur’an are not arranged in chronological order in regard to the timing in which they were written, both the “sword” and the “peace” surahs/verses are scattered throughout the Qur’an- this, in reference to the “peaceful” verses, gives the illusion that the entire Qur’an promotes “peace”. But BEWARE! Such verses have been abrogated in favor of “war” (write us for The Quran’s Doctrine of Abrogation - free).

SURAH 16:101

Let’s see what Ali has to say about 16:101: “...It is not fair to charge a man of God with forgery because the message as revealed to him is in a different form than revealed before, when the core of the truth is the same, for it comes from God” (note 2140). Not much said here. But Ali refers to forgery and rightly so, for this “changing” bothered those whom the prophet preached to - in the beginning it was peace, patience and tolerance (he had tolerance both to the Jews and Christians in the beginning) - they accused him of changing God’s word for his own. Well, this is EXACTLY what Muhammad did. His Arabic hubris drove him to pick up the sword and cut heads off - which he DID!...and this example is seen worldwide as I write. Where is Islamic peace, love, tolerance?? Oh, these will not come UNTIL the “House of Peace” is universally established. That means, UNTIL ALL of Allah’s enemies are either, murdered or become Muslim! There you have TRUE Islam.

“We must destroy this BIG LIE emanating from our media and political elites”, one writer has said, “that Islam (a “peaceful” religion) has been hijacked and perverted by a few evil Islamists- fascists, Islamic militants, Islamic Fundamentalists, Jihadists, Wahhabists, radical Islamists, political Islamists, etc.! There has been NO hijacking. There has been NO perversion. There has been NO moderate Islam, political or what have you. These demented souls are following EXACTLY the teachings of the Qur’an, and Muhammad who is described in the Hadiths who made Holy War!”
