Triumphant Tragedy!

“After that, when Jesus knew that everything was completed… they put a sponge soaked in vinegar… and held it to his mouth, when Jesus had received the vinegar, He said, ‘IT IS FINISHED!’ and He bowed His head and gave up His spirit” (John 19:28-30).

That scene and experience is considered a “Triumphant Tragedy!” In these passages John brings us face-to-face with human suffering on open display and with the human triumph of the man Jesus.

Matthew, Mark, and Luke do not tell us, “IT IS FINISHED!” Only here in John. But they do tell us, “And Jesus cried again with a loud voice, and gave us His spirit” (Matthew 27:50); “And Jesus uttered a loud cry, and breathed out His life” (Mark 15:37); “And Jesus, crying out with a loud voice, said, ‘Father, into Your hands I commit My spirit! And with these words He expired” (Luke 23:46) – all from the Amplified Bible.

IT IS FINISHED!

These 3 words in the Greek language is tetelestai. Jesus did not whisper these words. Oh, no, He SHOUTED these words in a TRIUMPHANT VICTORY where both men and demons could hear. His last words ended in TRIUMPH for Him and those who would believe Him from that day to this day. Those who will now repent of their sins He will save!! His death on that cross (of shame) began the END of demonic rule, for Jesus gives us power over all demon powers – a tragedy for the kingdom of Hell!!!

For the Son of Man/Son of God the life of strife and suffering was over: He WON!!! He, through this awful, painful experience, obtained FREEDOM for ALL who will come to Him in repentance. He provides eternal life, defeating eternal death.

Jesus’ thirst on the cross - “I thirst” – can be traced back to Psalms 69:21, (see Matthew 27:34, 48).

Jesus, “The Lamb of God (John 1:29) who takes (present tense) away the sin of the world” replaced Old Testament sacrifices (Exodus 12:22). The Old Testament Passover lamb which saved the ancient Israelites, has become the New Testament substance… the shadow has passed, the SON is shining bright with His glorious Light! His death opened the eternal door of eternal life (John 3:16, 17). The mainspring of the Father’s Being is LOVE (Greek, agapao = to love in a social or moral sense). But within agapao is found judgment, condemnation, and conviction.

Some ask, how can we reconcile John 3:17 – “For God did not send His Son into the world to CONDEMN the world” – with, “For judgment I come into this world” (John 9:39). Can both be true?

John 3 continues: “He that beleiveth on Him is not condemned but he that believeth not is condemned already…” (v.18).

So, we see that Jesus was sent to rescue the already condemned… so as not to perish (3:16). The world, i.e. the unsaved/unrepentant are already condemned – Jesus was sent into the world to RESCUE them “if” they wish to be saved:

1^st – The world was/is in a RUINOUS, CONDEMNED state, in a fallen state utterly without power to save itself from destruction;

2^nd – God, by and through His eternal/agapeo love, provided for its RESCUE/SALVATION, by giving His Son to die for it;

3^rd – Jesus’ sacrifice was/is the ONLY means by which the world can be saved;

4^th – Sin is an evil that can only be defeated by the Blood of Jesus – Jesus’ atonement is required;

5^th – No human can be eternally saved by works;

6^th – Those who believe receive – they are exempted form eternal perdition (if they continue in faith!)

So, the grand operation of the Spirit is to bring us to Jesus (draw us), by faith/grace we are saved, we are justified, i.e. counted clean – our sins forgiven: we are sanctified, i.e. set apart (from the world of “sin”) for God’s Kingdom of glory.

So, the Son was sent into the world, not to condemn it, but to save it.

John 9:39 says, “… For judgment I am come into the world, that they which see not, might see; and that they which see might be made blind.”

Jesus did not come to condemn the already condemned, but to execute the just judgment of His Father – by giving light and sight to the blind, the physical blind and the spiritually blind, e.g. Gentiles who sit in darkness. By removing the true light from the religious pretenders – who claim they are just but in truth they were abusers of God’s mercy and justice (see Matthew 23). Hence, salvation was to be taken from Israel/the unbelieving Jews, and given to the believing Gentiles.

The Pharisees asked Jesus, “Are we blind also?” (v.40).

As far as judgment/condemnation goes, Jesus’ words judged/condemned those who thought they were sheep/in the vine, but were goats and not in the vine.

Jesus’ healing of the blind man resulted in Jesus’ speaking of “judgment” (John 9:39). The man was in darkness; by a miracle he was given sight: the “religious” were in spiritual darkness but claimed they could see. Jesus judged the situation. It was the (once) blind man that recognized Jesus as the Son of God (John 9:36-38), whereas the “religious” rejected Jesus as the Son of God. Recognition now passes over into faith, and faith to worship (v.38).

Where do you stand today concerning Jesus? Do you believe? Are you like the “religious” believing you are right but are wrong? Are you just “religious” but not “righteous?”

The truth is, Jesus died for ALL, but not all will believe/receive. Churches are full of those that are spiritually blind, having never repented of their sins but merely joined a church.

The Father sent His Son in love, not to beat the lost down but to lift them up. At the same time he sent the Son to judge between good and evil, between righteousness and unrighteousness – this is LOVE IN ACTION! Men condemn themselves by rejecting the Savior the Father sent.

Why did the “religious” hate Jesus? Their hatred and murderous intent remind me of Alcibiades, an Athenian politician and general in the Peloponnesian war (450-404 BC), a man of great genius, who was a champion of Socrates railed against him: “Socrates, I HATE you, for every time I meet you, you let me see what I am!” Wow! I believe this was the reason why Israel's “religious” hated Jesus: they were full of darkness and He was light; they were full of hell and He was heavenly. Those whom are engaged in evil (Matthew 23) do not want a flood of light and love to shine upon them. Heaven would be HELL to those who are full of HELL! It is the evil-doer who does not wish to see him/herself, nor wish others to see who and what they are. What does the Scriptures say: “The eyes of the LORD are on the righteous, and His ears are open to their cry” (Psalms 34:15); “He does not withdraw His eyes from the righteous…” (Job 36:7); “The eyes of the LORD are in every place, keeping watch on the evil and the good” (Proverbs 15:3); “For His eyes are on the ways of man, and He sees all his steps” (Job 34:21); “Does He not see my ways, and count all my steps?” (Job 31:4); “For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose head is loyal to him…” (2 Chronicles 16:9).

So, dear ones, Jesus saves and He judges. Both are done out of love.

Jewish Sources Concerning Jesus Christ

Besides the numerous Messianic prophecies in the Old Testament (O.T.), there are other Jewish sources that speak of Jesus’ birth, His genealogy, His pre-existence, His Name, His calling, His anointment, His ministry, His rejection, His ill treatment, His resurrection.

It is believed that the O.T. was written over a 1,000-year period & contains several references to the (coming) Messiah. From what I could dig out from the Jewish sources, they testify of Jesus’ person:

His Birth

The Bible testifies to His birth: prophecy = Gen. 3:15 / fulfillment = Gal. 4:4; Mt. 1:20;

The Jewish Targum Onkelos: “And I will put enmity between thee & between the woman, & between thy son & her son. He will remember thee, what thou didst to him (at) from the beginning, & thou shalt be observant unto him at the end.” - The Targums of Onkelos & Jonathan Ben Ussiel on the Pentateuch. Volumes.1,2, 1968;

The Targum Pseudo Jonathan (ref. Gen. 3:15): “And I will put enmity between thee & the woman, & between the seed of your offspring & the seed of her offspring; & it shall be that when the offspring of the woman keep the commandments of the Law, they will aim right (at you) & they will smite you on the head; but when they abandon the commandments of the Law, you will aim (at them), & you will wound them in the heel. However, for them there will be a remedy, but for you there will be none, & in the future they will make peace with the heel in the days of the King, Messiah.” - The Targums & Rabbinic Lit., 1969; (Targums: appear in written form – copies (about A.D. 500) Targum means “interpretation.” They are paraphrases of the O.T. The Chief ones are; The Targum of Onkelos (60 B.C.), the Targum of Jonathan Ben Uzziel (30 B.C. some believe). This one contains the Prophets & historical accounts. The reason for the Targums was for vindicating the truthfulness of the Hebrew Scriptures).

So, Gen. 3:15 gives us the first prediction of the Savior = “the seed of the woman.” Matthew one gives us the genealogy of Jesus, His birth & mission in life - “He will save His people from their sins,” v.21.

The Early Church Fathers like Ignatius (35-107 A.D.), Justin Martyr (100-165 A.D.), Clement of Alexandria (150-215), Tertullian (160-230 A.D.), Origen (185-255 A.D.), wrote about Jesus’ birth.

Isaiah 7:14 was a prophecy & Mt. 1:18,24,25; Lk. 1:26-35 spoke of the fulfillment. The ongoing controversy about the Heb. words “bethulah” & “almah”; the Gk. word “parthenos” confuses many. When the translators of the Septuagint (Gk.) translated Isa. 7:14 into Greek they used the Gk. word “parthenos” = the Messiah would be born of a virgin.

2 Samuel 7:12-16, 1 Chron. 17:11-14 & Ps. 2:7 are prophecies concerning the “Son of God,” finding their fulfillment in Mt. 16:16; Mk. 9:7; Lk. 9:35; 22:70; Acts 13:30-33; Jn. 1:34,49.

Gen. 12:2,3 & Gen. 22:10 speak of Abraham’s seed; Gal. 3:16 is the fulfillment. (see also Isa. 65:16).

Gen 21:2 speaks of the seed of Isaac; Lk. 3:23,34; Mt. 1:2 speaks of the fulfillment. Numbers 24:17 (see also Gen. 35:10-12) is a prophecy about Jacob, Isaac’s son; the fulfillment is found in Lk. 3:23,34.

Jewish Source

The Targum Onkelos, in ref. to Num. 24:17 states, “I see him, but not now; I behold him, but not nigh. When a king shall rise out of Jacob, & the Messiah be anointed from Israel...” (ibid, p.309);

Targum Jonathan on Gen. 35:11,12: “And the Lord said to him, I am El Shaddai: spread forth & multiply; a holy people, & a congregation of prophets & priests, shall be from thy sons whom thou hast begotten, & two kings shall yet from thee go forth. And the land which I gave to Abraham & to Isaac will I give unto thee, & to thy sons after thee will I give the land.” (ibid, p.279).

So, there two witnesses tell us that the Jews gave Messianic import to the texts. (also, Midrash Bamidbar Rabbah gives a Messianic meaning. See Christ in Prophecy by Paul Heinisch, pp.44,45, 1956).

The Bible says that “The scepter shall not depart from Judah, nor the ruler’s staff from between his feet, until Shiloh comes, & to him shall be the obedience of the peoples.” - Gen. 49:10; see Micah 5:2 also. This prophecy was fulfilled by Jesus; Lk. 3:23,33; Mt. 1:2; Heb. 7:14.

The Targum Jonathan (ref. to Gen. 49:10,11 reads, “Kings shall not cease, nor rulers, from the house of Jehuda, nor sapherim teaching the law from his seed, tell the time that the king, the Meshiha, shall come, the youngest of his sons; & on account of him shall the peoples flow together. How beauteous is the King, & Meshiha who will arise from the house of Jehuda!” (ibid, p.331). The Targum Pseudo Jonathan (ref. to Gen. 49:11) states, “How noble is the King, Messiah, who is going to rise from the house of Judah” (taken from the Targums & Rabbinic Lit., p.278).

Going on to Jesse (Isa. 11:1,10), we find Luke writing about the fulfillment, e.g. Lk. 3:23,32 (see also Mt. 1:6). The Targum Isaiah reads: “And a king shall come forth from the son of Jesse, & an Anointed One (i.e. Messiah) from his son’s sons shall grow up. And there shall rest upon him a spirit from before the Lord, the spirit of wisdom & understanding, the spirit of counsel & might, the spirit of knowledge, & of the fear of the Lord.” (the Targum of Isaiah, p.40, 1949).

The House of David prophecy is found in Jeremiah 23:5; see also Ps. 132:11; 2 Sam. 7:12-16: the fulfillment is found in many N.T. texts: Mt. 1:1; 9:27; 15:22; 20:30,31; 21:9,15; 22:41-46; Mk. 9:10; 10:47,48; Lk. 3:23,31; 18:38,39; Acts. 13:22,23 & Rev. 22:16.

Bible scholars/authors (like Josh McDowell, N. Geusler, M.F. Unges, F.F. Bruce, M. Friedlaender, J.S. Minkin, John Bowker, A. Cohen et al.) say “Behold, the days are coming” is a common expression which is used in ref. to the entrance of the “messianic” era (as in Jer. 31:27-34).

Where was Jesus born? The O.T. prophecy says, “But as for you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, too little to be among the clans of Judah, from you One will go forth for Me to be ruler of Israel. His goings forth are from long ago, from the days of eternity” - Micah 5:2. The fulfilment is found in Mt. 2:1 (see also Jn. 7:42; Mt. 2:4-8; Lk. 2:4-7). Mt. 2:6 says that Christ would be born in Bethlehem.

Bethlehem in Judea, a village 5 miles south of Jerusalem. Matthew says nothing of the events in Nazareth (see Lk. 1:26-56). Possibly wanting to emphasize Jesus’ Davidic background, he begins with the events that happened in David’s city. It is called “Bethlehem in Judea,” not to distinguish it from the town of the same name 7 miles NE of Nazareth (see footnote in the NIV, 10 edition, p.1437. This note explains much for the reader)

It is fitting that Bethlehem, meaning “the house of bread,” should be the birthplace of the one who was and is “the Bread of Life.” The Jesus story continues with gifts given to Him (O.T. prophecy = Ps. 72:10; Isa. 60:6); the N.T. fulfillment = Mt. 2:1,11.

The birth of Jesus caused crazy Herod to go on a killing spree: O.T. = Jer. 31:15; N.T. = Mt. 2:16. The entire context of Jer. 31, beginning chap.30:20 – chap.33:76, is Messianic.

Ps. 110:1 states in prophecy, “The Lord says to my Lord: ‘sit at My right hand, until I make Thine enemies a footstool for Thy feet.’” (see also Jer. 23:6; Mt. 22:44; Mk. 12:36; 16:19; Lk. 20:42,43; Acts 2:34,35; Col. 3:1; Heb. 1:13; 1 Cor. 15:25; Eph. 1:22 et al.)

Luke 2:11 & Mt. 22:43-45 states the fulfillment of Ps. 110:1. Jesus shall be called “Lord” (Heb., yehôvâh = the self-Existent or Eternal); (Gk., kurios = supreme in authority, i.e. Controller, God, Master, Sir).

In the Midrash Teheillim (commentary on Psalms, 200-500 A.D.) states in ref. to Ps. 21:1: “God calls King Messiah by His own name. But what is His name? Answer: Jehovah is a man of war,” see Ex. 15:3. (Bible Commentary: Jeremiah, p.193; 1953).

Echa Rabbathi (200-500 A.D., Pentateuch commentary) comments on Lam. 1:16: “What is the name of Messiah?’ R. Abba ben Cahana (200-300 A.D.) has said: Jehovah is His name, & this is proved by ‘This is His name’” (see Jer. 23:6). ibid.

In Evidence that Demands a Verdict we read: “The Lord said unto my Lord. ‘Jehovah said unto Adnai’ or ‘my Lord,’ - i.e., the Lord of David, not in his merely personal capacity, but as rep. of Israel, literal & spiritual. It is because he addresses Him as Israel’s & the Church’s Lord, that Christ in the three Gospels quotes it. ‘David calls Him Lord,’ not His Lord’” (vol.1, p.152) (see also A Commentary Critical, Experimental & Practical on the O.T. & N.T., Vol.III, (1961), p.346).

So far, we’ve seen where the Messiah – Christ Jesus – is called “Lord.” Now we’ll examine where He is called “Immanuel” (which we’ve touched on already), i.e. “God with us,” Isa. 7:14/Mt. 1:23/Lk. 7:16.

The Jewish Targum Isaiah states, “Therefore the Lord Himself shall give you a sign; Behold a damsel is with child, & shall bear a son, & shall call His name Immanuel.” (see The Targum of Isaiah, p.24, 1949). Franz Delitzsch, in his Biblical Commentary on the Prophecies of Isaiah, vol.1, p.252 (1950), writes: “There is no reason why we should take El in this name of the Messiah in any other sense than in Immanu-El; not to mention the fact that El in Isaiah is always a name of God, & that the prophet was ever strongly conscious of the antithesis between El & Adam, as chapter 31:3 (see Hosea 11:9) clearly shows.” (p.252). Is he saying that Immanuel (Messiah/Jesus) is God?

We know that Jesus would be a Prophet according to the prophecy of Deut. 18:18, which found its fulfillment in Mt. 21:11 (see also Lk. 7:16; Jn. 4:19; 6:14; 7:40).

Jesus claimed to be God. Not only was He a Prophet & Teacher but said He was the “I AM.” He was also the Son of God/Son of Man/YHWH-Lord/Yahweh: In Prof. Unger’s Bible Dict. (page 409) we read: “Yahweh’ (Ex. 3:14) basically means ‘He who is,’ or ‘I am who I am,’ & declares the divine Self-existence.”

Prof. W.C. Robinson wrote: “The identification of our Lord Jesus Christ with the Lord of the O.T. results in an explicit doctrine of His Deity” (see Who Say Ye That I Am? p.118, 1949). Matthew 13:14,15, Christ identifies Himself with the “Lord” (Adonai) of the O.T. (Isa. 6:8-10) (see Proof of the Deity of Christ from the Gospels, p.15, 1960).

Before I press on, allow me to quote what Kryssler & Scheffrahn say on this “I AM” matter: “He claimed the covenant of YHWH – or Jehovah. In the 8th chapter of John’s Gospel we find: ‘Unless you believe that I AM, you shall die in your sins; v.24; ‘When you lift up (i.e., on the cross) the Son of Man, then you will know that I AM...’ v.28; ‘Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM,’ v.58. His use of the I AM connects with Ex. 3:14 where God reveals Himself to Moses: ‘I AM who I AM.’ And He said, ‘Say this to the people of Israel, I AM has sent me to you.’ Thus, the name of God in Hebrew is YHWH or I AM.” (Jesus of Nazareth: Who Did He Claim to Be? p.11 (1968). YHWH was sacred to the Jews. Many get confused by the names Adonai & Elohim. How can Jesus be both Son of God & God? In the repeated uses of the term “Son” in juxtaposition to “the Father,” they declare His explicit claim of equality with the Father & formulate the truth of the Tri-Unity (Jn. 10:33-38; 3:35; 5:19-27; 6:27; 14:13; Mk. 13:22; Mt. 23:9,10).

Jesus’ use of “Son of Man” in regards of His coming (2nd): Mt. 13:41; 24:27,30; 25:31; Lk. 18:8; 21:36; in regard to His ministry: Mt. 8:20; 9:6; 11:19; 16:13; Lk. 19:10; 22:48; in regard to His Passion: Mt. 12:40; 17:9,22; 20:18. “Son of Man” is clearly a Messianic title -which the Jews recognized – Jn. 12:34.

Concerning Jesus’ Prophet-ship, Maimonides (a Jewish scholar) wrote, “The Messiah will be a very great Prophet, greater than all the Prophets with the exception of Moses our teacher... His status will be higher than that of the Prophets & more honorable, Moses alone excepted. The Creator, blessed be He, will single Him out with features wherewith He had not singled out Moses; for it is said with ref. to Him, ‘And His delight shall be in the fear of the Lord; & He shall not judge after the sight of His eyes, neither decide after the hearing of His ears.’” (see Isa. 11:3). (The Teachings of Maimonides, p.221 (1927).

The Early Church Fathers wrote about Prophecy & Prophets in the early Church, how to identify a true prophet & O.T. Prophets.

They quote 2 Peter 1:20,21: “No prophecy of Scripture is of any private interpretation, for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.”

Men like Theophilus (2nd cent.), Irenaeus (130-200 A.D.), Clement of Alexandria (150-215 A.D.), Tertullian (160-230 A.D.), Origen (185-255 A.D.), Lactantius (250-325 A.D.), Hippolytus (170-236 A.D.), Hermas (2nd cent.) the Didache, Victorinus (died in 304 A.D.), Cyprian (died in 258 A.D.), Eusebius (270-340 A.D.), Polycrates (2nd cent.) et al.

Jesus was/is also “Priest;” Ps. 110:4, fulfilled in Heb. 3:1; 5:5,6. Many are confused over who & what Melchizedek was. Allow me to quote from A Commentary Critical, Experimental & Practical on the O.T./N.T., vol.III, p.347 (1961):

“The final victory of Messiah’s people over the world & Satan is... certain. The oath of God did not accompany the Aaronic priesthood, as it does our Melchizedek-like Priest, who ‘is made not after the law of a carnal commandment, but after the power of an endless life.’ ‘After the order of Melchizedek’ is explained, Heb. 7:15, ‘after the similitude of Melchizedek.’ The oath of the covenant on the part of the Father to the Son is for the comfort of Messiah’s people. Uzziah’s punishment for his usurpation of the functions of priest shows that David cannot be the King-Priest here described (e.g. 2 Chron. 26:16-21). The extraordinary oath of God shows that the King-Priesthood here is something unparalled. David died, but this Melchizedek-like Priest lives forever. Zech. 6:9-15, esp. v.13, similarly describes Messiah - ‘He shall sit & rule upon His throne, & He shall be a Priest upon His throne.’”

Think about it: Jesus will be Priest forever & ever! We still do not know, at least I do not, who Melchizedek was. We know nothing more of him/(Him) than is written in Gen. 14:18, who “He was the priest of God Most High.” Stories & conjectures have been written about this king. He must have been as real a personage as Bera, Birsha, or Shinab. This King of Salem (many scholars say Jerusalem) was a real person, which they believe (myself included) his person was a representative & type of Christ. In Hebrew, his name – Malki tsedek – signifies “My righteous King” or “King of righteousness.” Dr. Adam Clarke, LL.D., F.S.A. has some interesting notes about him (see vol.1 - Genesis to Deut., pp.102-103). He examines Melchizedek in the Hebrew language, Arabic et al.

Going on, Isaiah states, “For the Lord is our judge, the Lord is our lawgiver, the Lord is our Ling; He will save us...” -Isaiah 33:22. John writes, “I can do nothing on my own initiative. As I hear, I judge; & my judgment is just, because I do not seek My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me.” -Jn. 5:30. Paul writes, “In the presence of God & of Christ Jesus, who will judge the living & the dead...” -2 Tim. 4:1.

Does the Bible tell us to judge? How many times have I been accused of “judging,” in which the slur is flung at me, “Don’t judge me, just love me,” or “The Bible tells us not to judge!” The text these “Don’t judge” folks cite is Matthew 7:1: “Do not judge, as you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge, others, you will be judged...” Is this true, we’re not to judge? Matthew is writing about hypocritically or self-righteously (as can be seen from the context -v.5). End of argument! If you belong to the “Don’t judge” class, research the texts (N.T.) where we are instructed to JUDGE.

The Targum Isaiah says (in ref. to Isa. 33:22), “For the Lord is our judge, who brought us out of Egypt by His might; the Lord is our teacher, who gave us the instruction of His law from Sinai; the Lord is our King, He shall deliver us, & execute a righteous vengeance for us on the armies of Gog.” (ibid, p.110).

Another passage is found in A Commentary Critical, Experimental & Practical on the O.T., N.T., Vol. III, p.666: “...Judge... lawgivers... King – perfect ideal of the theocracy, to be realized under Messiah alone: the judicial, legislative, & administrative functions as King, to be exercised by Him in person.” (read also Isa. 11:4; 32:1 & James 4:12).

When Jesus was crucified, Matthew 27:37 records: “And they put up above His head the charge against Him which read, ‘This is Jesus the King of the Jews.’” And so, He was and still is!!! (see also Mt. 21:5; Jn. 18:33-38). This act was the fulfillment of what Ps. 2:6, Zech. 9:6 & Jer. 23:5 spoke of. Each of these texts must be researched/studied. Ps. 2:6 states, “But as for Me, I have installed My King upon Zion, My holy mountain.”

The whole of Ps. 2 is about prophetic judgment that was to come against the house of David & of God’s future redemption, which Jesus brought to the Jews - “REPENT & BE SAVED!” Nations beside the nation of Israel, stood against “His Anointed One,” i.e. “Christ.” It was God the Father who installed His Son Jesus upon Zion... to rule, judge & plead for their souls. As I write this, the Holy Spirit is still pleading for the Jews to be saved. The same Holy Spirit that came upon the Son at His baptism (read Mt. 3:16,17). Isaiah wrote about this HS anointing in 11:2 (see also Ps. 45:7; Isa. 42:1 & 61:1,2).

The Targum Isaiah (T.I.), vv.1-4, has a lot to say about this (p.40). The Babylonian Talmud (B.T.), the Sanhedrin II says, “The Messiah... & the Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him...’ (B.T., pp.626,627, 1935).

It was the Holy Spirit of God upon & in Jesus that led Him into the wilderness to be tempted of Satan (Mt. 4:1). Luke’s account says, “Then Jesus, being FILLED with the Holy Spirit... was led by the Spirit into the wilderness” (Lk. 4:1). After Jesus’ combat with Satan, Luke says, “Then Jesus returned in the POWER of the Spirit to Galilee...” -v.14. After this Jesus gave His famous proclamation, “The Spirit of the LORD is upon Me, because He has ANOINTED Me to preach the gospel to the poor;...to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives & recovery of sight to the bling, to set at liberty those who are oppressed; to proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD,” -Lk. 4:18-19.

The Early Church Fathers have a good deal to say about the work & operation of the Holy Spirit, His divinity; Novatian (died in 257 A.D.) wrote: “The source of the entire Holy Spirit remains in Christ, so that from His could be drawn streams of gifts & works, while the Holy Spirit dwelled richly in Christ.” (see Jn. 16:7,8,13: 1 Thes. 5:19 et al.) The Holy Spirit is also called the “Paraclete.”

Psalm 69:9 talks about the ZEAL of Christ Jesus: “For zeal for Thy house has consumed Me, & the reproaches of those who reproach Thee have fallen on Me.”

Would to God we could see “Spirit Zeal” in today’s Church. Sadly, it has more zeal for the world than for Christ & the things pertaining to Christianity. However, the early Church did have that zeal, for they willingly offered themselves to persecutions, prosecutions, prisons & even death itself!

John wrote about Jesus’ zeal in Jn. 2:15-17. Jesus’ zeal for the things of God, His Father, “CONSUMES Me like a FLAME with its intensity” (see also Ps. 119:139: see A.R. Fausset’s A Commentary Critical... p.245).

There is much that can be written about Jesus – prophecy in the O.T. & fulfillment in the N.T. Isaiah wrote: “A voice is calling, ‘clear the way for the Lord in the wilderness; make smooth in the desert a highway for our God’” - Isa. 40:3 (see Mal. 3:1 also). Jesus was preceded by John the Baptist (which Isa. made ref. to). Matthew 3:1,2; 3:3; 11:10; Jn. 1:23; Lk. 1:17 all speak of Isaiah’s prophecy. Even the Targum Isaiah comments on Isa. 40:3: “The voice of one that crieth, ‘Prepare ye a way in the wilderness before the people of the Lord, tread down paths in the desert before the congregation of our God.’” (ibib, p.130).

Jesus was predicted to become “The stone which the builders rejected has become the chief cornerstone.” -Ps. 118:22; see also Isa. 8:14; 28:16. Peter wrote of Psalm’s prediction in 1 Peter 2:7 (see Rom. 9:32,33 also). Targum Isaiah (p.68) has a long comment. Jesus was to be a stumbling block to the unbelieving Jews but a light to the Gentiles, as Isa. 60:3; 49:6 predicted (Acts 13:47,48; 26:23; 28:28).

Because of the jealousy & hatred for the “Lamb of God,” He was sold out for 30 pieces of silver (Zech. 11:12/Mt. 26:15; 27:3) by a friend & disciple – Judas – as written in Ps. 41:9; 55:12-14/Mt. 10:4; 26:49,50; Jn. 13:21. He was rejected by the Jewish nation, thus punished (see Isa. 53; Zech. 13:6), & the Jews let a murderer go free (see Mt. 27:26)

Jesus’ end came as they put Him upon a cross to DIE! (as predicted in Ps. 22:16); Luke 23:33 records His crucifixion. Isaiah foretold that He would be numbered with the transgressors, whom Matthew wrote about – Mt. 27:38; see also Mk. 15:27,28. Even the Encyclopedia Americana records the event (p.253). What is amazing about crucifixion, it was unknown in Jewish criminal law. It has been known that the hanging on a gibbet (i.e. a gallows from which bodies of criminals (already dead) were hung & exposed to public scorn). The common way to punish was stoning to death; the Jews adopted crucifixion from the Romans. But when Ps. 22:16 et al. was written, crucifixion was not yet in practice.

FYI

There are in the O.T. 332 distinct predictions which were literally fulfilled in Christ Jesus (see Canon Liddon).

But Jesus did not remain DEAD! NO sir! He AROSE from the DEAD! Some of Jesus’ last words are recorded in Ps. 31:5 & Lk. 23:46. After His death, Isaiah predicted that “His grave was assigned to be with wicked men, yet with a rich man in His death...” -Isa. 53:9 – Mt. 27:57-60 records the fulfillment.

The best part came when Jesus AROSE from the DEAD!!! HE IS RISEN!!! Jesus Himself spoke that “After 3 days I WILL RISE” (Mt. 27:63). The angel at Jesus’ tomb testified to the FACT that Jesus arose from the dead, as recorded in Mt. 28:5,6. Later “when He rose early on the first day... He appeared first to Mary...” -Mk. 16:9. When Mary sought for Him, He appeared to her “...whom are you seeking?” -Jn. 20:15. Jesus disclosed His intention to her “...for I have not yet ASCENDED to My Father...” -Jn. 20:17.

Well, we know the rest of this beautiful story: “...while they (disciples) watched, He was taken up, & a cloud (of glory) received Him...” - Acts. 1:9.

His Resurrection & Ascension is recorded in the O.T.: Ps. 19:8-10: 30:3; 41:10; 118:17; Hos. 6:2; Ps. 16:11; 24:7; 68:18; 110:1; 118:19. The Early Church Fathers have recorded His R/A (ref. Lk. 24:37-39; Acts. 2:31,32; Rev. 1:5 et al.). Clement of Rome, Ignatius, Justin Martyr, Tertullian, Origen, Cyprian, Anatolius & the Apostolic Constitutions (compiled 390 A.D.).

Believe it or not, there are some “Christians” who deny His resurrection/ascension. But Christ predicted His death & resurrection in an unmistakable & straightforward manner. Not only this, but He also emphasized His RISING from the dead would be the “SIGN” to authenticate His claims to be the long awaited “Messiah” (research those texts, dozens of them). Here are a few: Mt. 12:38-40; Mk. 8:31-9:1; Lk. 9:22-27; Jn. 2:18-22; Mt. 16:21; 17:9; 17:22,23; 20:18,19; 26:32; Mk. 9:10. Even the Muslims deny His death & resurrection (see my articles on Islam).

Finally, Jesus appears to many – proof of His resurrection - see the following list:

"God is in Total Control"

Psalm 107 gives us a peek at the sovereignty of God, His all powerful (omnipotent) character in vv.24-29. Here we read of His marvelous acts, His “wonders in the deep” (v.24), “For He commandeth, & raiseth the STORMY WIND, which lifteth up the waves.” (v.25). The author goes on to tell us that the waves “mount up to the heaven, they go down again to the depths...” (v.26) & “He maketh the storm a CALM, so that the waves therefore are STILL.” (v.29). In short, God controls the weather & elements.

Deep Wonders

Verse 23 says that “...men go down to the sea, there they see the works of the LORD (v.24) & see His wonders in the deep.” The “wonders” were AWFULLY TERRIBLE in the tempest! -- Not like sailing on calm waters for pleasure. NO! No fine weather, judgment water! It is the All Mighty that raised up the wind so that the waves would roar causing those on the ships to have their soul melt with FEAR! If you’ve ever been on a ship (as I have) you know the feeling of FRIGHT in a helpless state. It says the men aboard “...became as drunken men, at their wit’s end...” (v.27).

The Hebrew reads “vechol chochmatham tithballa,” “and all their skill is swallowed up.” No control of the ship or weather, yet the LORD All Mighty was in full control.

Ah, verse 28 tells us, “Then they cry unto the LORD in their trouble, & He bringeth them out of their distress.” Verse 29 settles things down: “He maketh the storm a CALM.” The original Hebrew says, “galleyhem vaiyecheshu lidemamah secrah yakem,” i.e. “He shall cause the whirlwind to stand dumb, & He shall hush their billows.”

It is pointed out that the Hebrews were essentially landsmen, the novelty of the nautical theme may account for the longer strophe & the exaggeration in the description we’re reading. The Bible allows for hyperbolic language which can describe certain frightful events. (example = “They (waves) mounted up to heaven.”).

Verse 17 tells us: “Some were sick through their sinful ways, and because of their iniquities suffered affliction.” It was God who brought the natural affliction in order that they would cry out unto Him. Some were so sick (inwardly), being manifested by sea sickness “they drew near to the gates of death.” (v.18). The O.T. frequently regards sickness as due to sin (see v.11 = “they rebelled against the Words of God.”)

Ps. 9:13 reads: “Have mercy upon me, O LORD; consider my trouble which I suffer of them that hate me, thou that liftest me up from the gates of death.” Here we find David praying for deliverance from deep trouble, not because he rebelled, but because he was being persecuted for his faith in God. The men in Psalm 107 were being given a chance to repent for their rebellion via a natural storm. In David’s plight, which his enemies had brought upon him, he cried unto the LORD for help. (Notice the contrast between “the gates of death,” 9:13, & “the gates of the daughter of Zion,” 9:14).

N.T. Storm

Matthew records, “the boat was now in the middle of the sea, TOSSED by the WAVES, for the wind was CONTRARY,” -Matthew 14:25. Matthew records “that the wind was BOISTEROUS, he (Peter) was AFRAID,” -v.30. We know the story, “when they (Jesus & Peter) got into the boat, the wind ceased,” -v.32.

Matthew 8 records where Jesus calms the sea (Mt. 8:23-27). This event is classified as a “sea miracle.” Verse 24 tells us “... behold, there arose a GREAT TEMPEST in the sea, insomuch that the ship was covered with waves...” This has been debated whether Satan or God caused this Tempest. Satan is the prince of the power of the air (i.e. spirit). The disciples were greatly afraid “... Lord, save us: we perish!” (v.25).

So, what is the point of this narrative? One advantage of trials is to make us know our weaknesses, our helplessness, so as to oblige us to have recourse to the LORD by faith in Christ Jesus. Truly, our walk of faith is one of ups & downs, trials & tribulations, all necessary for our spiritual growth. Some trials are so severe that we tend to think God wants us destroyed! Been there, thought that.

To show Jesus’ sovereignty, “Then He arose, and rebuked the winds & the sea; and there was a great calm,”-v.26.

As the agitation of the sea was only the effect of the wind, it was necessary for Jesus to rebuke the wind which caused the sea to act up. Jesus once again demonstrated the miraculous power of God: He was/is in total control of the element, demons, circumstances of life.

Verse 27 says, “the men marveled, saying, ‘what manner of man is this, that even the winds & the sea obey Him?’”

Did you know that Jesus has total control/command over all the creation? Jesus has power to heal or kill/ to cast the wicked into hell. “The VOICE of the LORD is over the waters ...is powerful, ...full of majesty, ...breaks trees, ...divides the flames of fire, ...shakes the wilderness, ...makes animals give birth, ...strips forests bare,” etc. (see Ps. 29).

The Greek reads: “How great is this person?” (Mt. 8:22).

Do you suppose that the LORD/Lord/Spirit is behind all these natural calamities in the world? (see our Words of the Spirit site). Jesus has power/authority over ALL natural & demonic forces, as well as humans.

The LORD causes wars & wars to cease, see Ps. 46:8,9/Ps. 47:7 says, “God is the king of all the earth.” Ps. 47:8 says He “reigns over the nations.”

Ps. 94:1,2 tells us that, “...vengeance belongs to Him & He is judge of the earth.” Ps. 113:4 tells us that He is “high above all nations.” Ps. 115:3 says, “He does whatever He pleases.” (see same in Ps. 135:6). Ps. 139:13 says, “...He forms babies in the womb.” Ps. 145:13 tells us that His “Kingdom is an everlasting Kingdom.”

With this said, don’t you think we need to honor & praise Him for all His goodness & mercies?

I Am God, There is None Like Me

We as God’s people need to remember what Isaiah wrote: “Remember the former things of old: for I am God, & there is none else; I am God, & there is none like Me, declaring the end from the beginning, & from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, ‘My counsel shall stand, & I will do all My pleasure.’” - Isa. 46:9,10/KJV [note: read vss. 9 & 10 in other versions].

There is a lot to think upon in these two verses. To start, turn to Deut. 32:7: “Remember the days of old, consider the years of many generations...” Here the author tells Israel to REMEMBER & CONSIDER, looking back in history at what God did. The author tells the people, “Ascribe greatness to our God, He is (present tense) the ROCK, His work is (present tense) perfect; for all His ways are justice, A God of truth & without injustice; righteous & upright is He.” (present tense) - NKJV/v.3,4.

We’re not speaking of just any God, but THE ONE & ONLY LIVING GOD! (see Isa. 45:5 = “I am the LORD, & there is NO OTHER, there is NO GOD besides Me...” see Deut. 4:35 = “To you it was shown, that you might know that the LORD Himself is God; there is NONE OTHER besides Him;” see Isa. 32:39 = “Now see that I, even I, am He, & there is NO GOD besides Me...” -see Isa. 41:4 = “... calling the generation from the beginning? I, the LORD, am the FIRST; & with the LAST I am He.” -see Isa. 43:10,11 = “... understand that I am He. Before Me there was NO GOD formed, nor shall there be after Me. I, even I, am the LORD, & besides Me there is NO SAVIOR.” (see also Rev. 1:8,11,17 et al.).

What did Isaiah mean by, “Before Me there was no God formed, nor shall there be after Me?” In vs.10, we find 3 important words: “know,” “believe,” & “understand.” Let it be said that one must KBU God & the things of God before one can be a true Living “witness” (v.10) to others.

Bible knowledge is great, needed, but without a “personal” relationship with THE ONE TRUE GOD, there will be no TRUE witness:

“know” (Heb.) tēdh'û;

“believe” (Heb.) ta’amînû or 'âman;

“understand” (Heb.) tābhînû or bîyn.

The final object of all knowledge & faith/insight = that He is the LORD/GOD!, the ONE universal GOD. There was NO TIME when He did not exist. So, dear believers, all other “gods” or “goddesses” are dead, fakes. The ONE TRUE LIVING GOD initiated history & will bring history to its close: no god was formed before Him, nor shall there be any after Him. Period!

[note: there are in Hebrew 29 words, & 12 of them are in the first person singular. It is monotheism at its most intense pitch. Heb. scholars tell us that it is not cast is any speculative of theoretical form: “I am God (‘anî'ēl) & I am He ('anîhû'). We find the names (Heb.) "Yahweh" & "Elohim.” In v. we find the word “Savior” (Isa. 43:11): “Besides Me there is no Savior.” What is expressed is the Living content of the word “God” in terms of what He does, of His relationship to men/women, & of His outgoing purpose. The word “Savior” connects with the climax of the covenant utterance at the close of Isa. 43:1-3a (“the Holy One of Israel, your Savior”), where Yahweh’s redemption is described, and it continues (see 2 Cor. 5:20).

I believe one cannot KNOW GOD/Son by merely investigating & discussing Him/Them. One must be born again, as John 3:3,5 tells us. It was Christ Jesus’ mission “to seek & to save.” Secular humanism et al. can never, ever save a soul from eternal damnation. As far back as Ex. 20:3, “You shall have no other gods before Me,” we find polytheism condemned. One DEITY! One standard of TRUTH! In the Bible alone we find His revelation/revolution/redemption/prophecy - we are called to be a witness for Him/Them. Are you a witness?

Let's go back to Isa. 46:9,10 – Here we find the One God as He has been revealed in Israel’s covenantal life: verse 8 starts with “Remember this...” vs.9, “Remember the former things...” (KJV); another translation reads: “Remember this & consider, recall it...” (vs.8). Israel’s sanctuaries were places where the tradition is remembered & transmitted; her rituals rehearse her ancient stories; her festivals re-enact & dramatize the holy events of her past; her prophets recall epochal moments like the Exodus & the sojourn & conquest; her priests recite & listen to the recitations of the tôrôth (i.e. instructions); her myths are transformed by the covenant acts & words according to the texts, exegesis & exposition.

“Remember the former things of old” (v.9, KJV, see chap. 41:4, 22-29; 42:8-9; 43:9-12; 44:7-8; 45:21; 48:3,5,14). The 2-fold call to remember is connected by the particle kî, for, to the 2-fold declaration of monotheism, “I am God.” So, history’s unity lies under the Sovereignty of ONE GOD Who works in history – the monotheistic declaration is given further content & force by the participles of revelation, “declaring,” “saying,” “calling,” which, according to Hebrew scholars, introduce the impressive lines of vss.10 & 11. (see also the Vulgate /Aramaic /Arabic /Palestinian /Syriac et al.).

Verses 8-11, The Living God’s work thru Cyrus (in vs.11 the “ravenous bird ref. to king Cyrus that was to redeem/release Israel from Babylon). He was to capture Babylon & eventually FREE the Israelite slaves (see my articles on Cyrus). God had told Israel (via prophets) that deliverance would come in the future. Remember! The whole counsel/course of history from beginning to end is in the mind/heart of God (41:21; 44:26; 48:14).

The ref. to Cyrus (Isa. 44:28; 45:1): one scholar amends the Heb. words “a bird of prey,” to “My servant” (see Jer. 49:22 & Ezek. 17:3 where similar descriptions of the eagle is applied to king Nebuchadrezzar).

The truth is, God does whatsoever He chooses to do. He can “bless” or “curse” people/nations (Ps. 33). He brings the counsel of the nations to nothing (vs.10); He is King of all the earth (Ps. 47:7). He reigns over the nations (vs.8). He is a sun & shield to those He loves, no good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly (Ps. 84:11). Vengeance belongs to God; He will judge those of the earth (Ps. 94:1). He can pity those whom He sees needing it (Ps. 106:45,46).

Fin

Vss.12 & 13:

Vs.12 says, “Hearken to Me, you stubborn of heart, you who are far from deliverance.” (ASV).

The motif of deliverance from slavery has run thru all chapter 46; here in vs.12 it reaches culmination.

God is telling Israel that they have been “transgressors” (vs.8) & “stubborn of heart” (v.12, KJV). We may well remember how Israel scoffed at the idea of Babylon overthrowing them as Jeremiah the prophet foretold. Vss.12 & 13 use the word “righteousness:” “Harken unto Me, ye stouthearted, that are far from righteousness: I bring near My righteousness; it shall not be far off, & My salvation shall not tarry...” -(KJV). Some scholars believe the words “victory” or “triumph” were meant rather than “righteousness. The Dead Sea Scroll reads, “My triumph is near;” also the Targum uses “triumph.”

We live in a similar time when the Church is backslid (with exceptions). God has sent His prophets to cry out against her sins – in return, mockery. Sadly, a large segment of Churchianity is more in tune with the PC/woke “One World Order” than with the LORD’s/Lord’s “Righteous World Order.” The Christian quality of life is very, very LOW! Prestige & prosperity & perversion rule today. A godly vacuum is open which needs to be filled with the Holy Spirit. While the Church brags about “knowing” the Lord, the Lord may tell them what is found in Mt. 7:23!

I Had Planted Thee A Noble Vine

The LORD instructed the Prophet Jeremiah to “Go & cry in the ears of Jerusalem, saying, ‘thus saith the LORD; I remember thee, the kindness of thy youth, the love of thine espousals...’ Israel was holiness unto the LORD...” - Jer. 2:2,3. Israel’s youth here, some scholars believe, refers to their infant political state when they came out of Egypt.

The LORD, through His Prophet, asked, “Hath a nation changed their gods, which are yet no gods? but My people have changed their glory for that which doth not profit.” - vs.11. He goes on to point out how Israel had “...committed two evils; they have FORSAKEN Me the Fountain of Living Waters, & hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns that can hold no water.” - vs.13.

The LORD continues “... Thine own wickedness shall correct thee, & thy BACKSLIDINGS shall reprove thee...” - vs.19. The LORD says in verse 21, “...yet I had planted a NOBLE VINE, wholly a right seed; how then art thou turned into the DEGENERATE plant of a STRANGE (queer!) vine unto Me?”

If we could replace the name JerUSAlem with Washington, D.C., we would be spot on! America’s God in the very beginning was not a “god” but “THE GOD” of the Bible... the very same God Israel worshipped & believed in while in the land of Egypt. This is not to say that America was wholly a theocracy in its beginning, no, but make no mistake it did believe in the God of Holy Scriptures.

In my teachings on “America’s Golden Calf” I show that America changed its “God” for another “god.” While the majority of people still believed in the Holy Scriptural God, the U.S. gov. began to worship another god, and so it is today. Even the Church has changed “gods.”

When I began to study the politics of the USA years ago, I was shocked to discover what I had uncovered. America still tries to maintain a semblance of Christianity, as does the BACKSLIDDEN church. I’m not one to swallow all the history of America’s founding, for one will find disappointments along the way. But I do believe the intent of the “believers” that came to this (native occupied) country was to create a “New Israel;” have religious freedom.

If one reads the constitution of the original 13 colonies, one will find the words “God, LORD, Jesus Christ, Holy Spirit” et al. But when one reads the U.S. Constitution these words are missing (except one word “Lord,” e.g. “in the year of our Lord”). What happened?

Well, we know the story – the eternal struggle to keep the LORD/Lord front-&-center is ongoing. Just as Israel TURNED AWAY from the “Living Waters” of God & hewed out “dead cisterns” of dead gods. And, so, here we are: Washington D.C. (“district of corruption”) is run by the worse kind of men & women. This is not to say that ALL are corrupted. NO! There are good men/women who are on the “Right” side... on the side of the Lord Jesus.

But let's face the UGLY truth: both politics & religion have become DEGENERATE; the Christian roots are deteriorated, and the fruit is ROTTEN! The idolatry, adultery, murder et al. covers the land – from sea to shining sea! The Noble Vine has become a vile vine. America has turned into Amerika another word for a socialist/communist nation. America has missed the EXIT! “America the Great” has turned into “Amerika the GLUT,” glutted out on every evil one can think of. We’ve went from “God Bless America” to “god bless Amerika;” from party to funeral! Now we have a feckless, failing freak in the White House, aka “Pink House.” We’ve become comfortably numb... playing the game of thrones... who will be King/Queen for a day, a year, 4 years?

Amerika has become like what Jer. 2:24 states – a donkey in heat! This nation has a BIG LUST/ADDICTION problem... can’t be satisfied!

There are “shape shifters” in the White House & Capitol who are anti-Christ in heart & mind, i.e. demons in human bodies at work to KILL, STEAL, & DESTROY all that is good & noble. Jeremiah & Isaiah both mention the vineyard that originally was planted with good seed & became bad seed (see Isa. 5:1-7). This pretty much describes the USA, “United Snakes of Amerika”

Jeremiah describes Israel (in her rebellion) like unto an ox that break their yoke & burst their thongs, asserting willfully, “we will not serve.”

The capitulation of the Hebrews to the cult of Baal was equal to prostitution & betrayal of the One True God. Hello – anyone listening? Both Church & State are in apostasy, hence, God’s wrath being poured out. There are evil men & women, societies, companies etc. who are in full cooperation with satanic forces who “shape” & “shift” things in this nation unbeknown to the public. The Spirit of God has revealed many to us. Statecraft = witchcraft! This nation has traded “God” for “god,” Satan. He is called “thief” in Jn. 10:10, that steals, kills & destroys; He is called “devil” in Jn. 8:44, who was/is a murderer; He is called “ruler of this world” in Jn. 12:31; He is called “the god of this age” in 2 Cor. 4:4; He is called “prince/ruler of the demons” in Mt. 8:34; He is called “Beelzebub” in Mt. 12:24; He is called “ruler of this world” in Jn. 16:11. With this said, it goes to reason that the collision between the “god of this world” & the “God of the Christians” is inevitable!

As I write, this nation is trying to divine the demonic, making light of God’s written Word (Logos) & His spoken Word (Rehma). The evil powers working in & through evil people are shifting things around so as to make “evil” good & “good” evil. Immoral behavior corrupts societies. The extraordinary vividness of Jeremiah’s phrase, “under every green tree” (2:20), derives from its intentional double-pointedness: the shrines & images; the licentious rite evoked the licentious practice. Even today’s church has succumbed to the demonic (with some exceptions). Now we have the capitulation to what is against nature (LGBTQIA, BS) in church la la land. Such intransigence is, at bottom, against nature (as Roman 1:26,27), against God Himself.

America has become ESTRANGED from the justice/ righteousness/ sanity of God: We’ve become a vile abnormal nation that has provoked God’s wrath-fury-indignation... a DIRTY body that can’t be washed clean indicates the depth of rebellion & apostasy. The stain of sin is dreadful indeed. (Jer. 2:22).

While the “Left” is obsessed with CRT (racism), the color of one’s skin, it is impervious to the truth-of-the-matter that the problem lies with the BLACKNESS of one’s heart. The cleansing must come from within. SIN, dear friend, is Amerika’s SIN! The continuance of rebellion against God & His Word/Spirit only increases the stain. There is zero chance of coming CLEAN without heart repentance. Zero! Will America/Amerika choose Him or Hinnom? Read all chapter two. How long will we kill the innocent (2:34)? We MURDER the unborn & support the murder of multitudes in foreign lands. Will we not reap what we’ve sown?

How fickle & ironical is the people’s behavior today. It is strange, if not pathetic, that we should expect to be blessed, to be sustained by a power which the Lord has withdrawn – harlotry, idolatry, apostasy, defection all spell disaster. The solution to the pollution is repentance revolution!

"Embrace Endurance"

IF - I use the 2-letter word “if”- one truly seeks the Lord, not counting oneself as to be pampered, you will find yourself being led of the Spirit (see Mt. 4:1) ... taking us far beyond our comfort zones of life – places in our hearts we’ve not traveled before.

Are you ready to ENDURE HARDNESS as a good soldier of Jesus Christ? (see 2 Tim. 2:3 - “endure” Greek, Kakopatheō/ Kakopatheia, to undergo hardship, persist, remain, continue, prevail, sustain, survive, outlast, hang on, hold out, stick to, sustain adversity, trials etc.)

We live in a time, in a generation where “giving up!” is the thing to do – not hold on, endure. Thank God for the ones who do ENDURE whatever the Spirit takes them through. (see (JesusCallsToAll.Com) where the prophetic Word of the Lord/Spirit at the end of this article, given by Gen. Deborah is found).

How many do you know that have stopped following the Lord/Spirit? Some may say they are still in the race/war, but they deceive themselves. They merely have gotten off the path, the course that the Spirit wants them on and have chosen to get on a more easy path/course. Oh, I’ve done this a time or two.

It is easy, too easy to immerse ourselves in pity, sorrow or what-have-you to ease the pain, instead of ENDURING until the END. God’s plan & desire for His people is to build Christian Character, true CC! If we’re allowed to do the building, we’ll find ways to cheat, lessen the time etc. God wants -DEMANDS- enduring character. Look at the Church calling itself “Christian,” filled with cheats, liars, frauds, fakes, flakes, snakes – all pretending to be Christian but their characters do not prove this to be so. Oh no! Enduring faith, the Biblical kind, is like a bird, which sings when the night is still dark.

Now, beware, the danger is greater because we cannot see the enemy – ourselves living in self-delusion, believing in our lies spoken by our deludherin tongue (the very tongue that tells us how “spiritual” we are! When we find ourselves lying to ourselves about ourselves, we’ve got the “monomania” disease: excessive interest in one thing, & that one thing is me, you, we, us!

This enemy -self- is well defined in the Bible, subtle, deceptive, selfish, cunning, and so dangerous to one’s spiritual health. Paul tells us: “If you live according to the flesh, aka “self,” you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to DEATH the deeds of the body, you will live.” -Rom. 8:13. Besides “deeds,” thoughts can be just as dangerous. [note: count how many times Paul uses the “if” word in chap.8 (NKJV) - 10 times; see my articles on the “if” clause]. Exerting “self” stinks (malodorous to God); walking in the Spirit is sweet smelling.

The question is, “will we endure what God wants us to endure?” What God wants His people to see is the eternal truth: “If we ENDURE chastening...” (Heb. 12:7), “...he that ENDURE unto the END...” (Mt. 24:13; Mk. 13:13; 2 Tim. 4:5). You see, our life in Christ is a generational sparring saga of epic proportions.

The prophetic Word (mentioned) says “...be willing to EMBRACE ENDURANCE & not be impatiently waiting & looking for an end to the same. This is because I desire my people to learn what it is to ENDURE steadfast until the time that their journey on this sin-cursed earth is finished. If you stop & consider how many there are who are separated from My purpose because they fail to ENDURE it is truly sad to see” - see whole Word at end of this article.

Ezekiel 22:14 asks, “Can your heart ENDURE, or can your hands remain strong, in the days when I shall deal with you? I, the LORD, have spoken...”

What follows is, “I will scatter you among the nations...” Why? We are in a time & season in which God is putting pressure on those who claim His name – to refine them, to purify them.

One translation reads: “Can your courage ENDURE, or can your hands be strong...?

We need to be honest with ourselves: can we ENDURE what lies ahead? We all know that America is under siege. Demon forces are raging!

Chapter 22 reveals the indictment of JerUSAlem (22:1-31) vss.1-16 depicts Jerusalem as a city of blood, defiled by its idolatry & oppressions. Amerika has the same! vss.17-22 employs the familiar prophetic figure of smelting. Amerika is under God’s HOT WRATH! vss.22-31 indicates all classes for their sins – leaders & people were to be punished for their sins/corruption. Hello, anyone listening?

JerUSAlem’s indictment can be brought under 3 heads:

personal immorality: unrestrained sinful impulses;
social injustice;
religion: Israel had left off following the LORD & took pleasure in idolatry/adultery. Godly devotion had been discarded in favor of ungodly behaviors. Israel manufactured their own religion... of the flesh!

Ezekiel 21:7 reads: “And it shall be, when they say unto thee, ‘wherefore sighest thou?’ that thou shalt answer, ‘For the tidings; because it cometh: & every heart shall melt, & all hands shall be feeble, & every spirit shall faint, & all knees shall be weak as water: behold, it cometh, & shall be brought to pass, saith the LORD God.”

God has declared WAR against America. (see our prophetic Words spoken/written over the last decade!) Amerika is being punished for her sins NOW! Even this migrant invasion is part of His punishment. The U.S gov. itself is as corrupt as it gets... & getting WORSE!!!

Can our hearts ENDURE? We will either prevail against all this HELL or FAIL! The daily “tidings” are fearful. Ezekiel the prophet was a “sign” by “sighing” (v.6,7). God used him to show the nation what was coming – CALAMITY! His sighing & mourning showed JerUSAlem how they would act when God allowed the enemy to prevail - “A sword, a sword is sharpened, & also furbished: It is sharpened to make a sore slaughter...” (vss.9,10).

Are we ready for God’s “Sword that Cuts, & His Fire that Burns?” God was going to allow the enemy sword to do its job (21:9-11): He was going to allow the fire to do its job (22:18-22). The Babylonian/Chaldean “fire” was to be used to refine those who would survive the invasion. God told Ezekiel, “The house of Israel is to Me become dross... of silver” (22:18). Has not Amerika, aka America become DROSS unto God? The prophet ends this chapter with the words: “Therefore have I poured out mine indignation upon them...” Are we ready to ENDURE God’s wrath???

the Suffocation in Defecation Part 1

God’s Word – written & spoken (i.e. prophecy) - is more relevant than ever. It has been said, and it is true, on an individual level people are destroying themselves, & on a collective level we as a nation are destroying ourselves. Just look at the city streets – human bodies lying everywhere... some are there because of various reasons, others because they have just given up on life, preferring death. And so, death stalks the land. Now we have the immigrant problem – millions have come into the U.S. (legally or illegally) since the Biden regime took power. With them comes all manner of problems, addictions, habits, diseases and sicknesses, crime, etc... All making things WORSE! America’s physical, mental, spiritual, emotional health is strained beyond recovery.

The Biden/Harris policy of “open borders” has influenced millions from all parts of the world – COME, TAKE, ENJOY!!! “Open Border” has motivated a CRISIS... one that is DESTRUCTIVE. But the Democratic Party sees it as a voting block for them. It is being considered to allow the illegals to vote, and of course they will vote for the DP., or at least that is hoped for.

The Biden/Harris regime represents to those enroute to the “Land of Milk & Honey,” a goal-setting approach – dream, plan, reach. U.S. citizens are pushed aside by the B/H regime in preference to the millions that have flooded into the U.S. Human trafficking, drug trafficking are just two HUGE problems the U.S. has to deal with. Thousands are dying drug-related deaths. Thousands are used, abused, & left to die by the Mexican cartels that B/H regime allows to freely operate. While all the BAD NEWS is very upsetting, the GOOD NEWS is that there is an army, be it small, of concerned Americans who are working on the frontlines of battle & witnessing for Jesus (at the risk of their own lives!). Others are working to counter this B/H influx of human beings who want to MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN! They want to make America a land of peace & prosperous living, a purposeful place.

Let's face the UGLY TRUTH, America has fallen into disrepair in many ways. Even the church has deteriorated more & more, allowing sin & sinners to defile it. It is not the “Light House” it once was. I can say unequivocally that God did not intend the Church or America to fall in the political/religious supine state it is in.

The DECLINE of the DIVINE has caused America to become decadent & demonic in just about every area. Politics is ruled by miscreants who don’t give a damn about anything but their own wellbeing. Catastrophe pretty much describes the state we are living under. Haters of God’s rule are indefatigable – tireless in their quest to dethrone Him & His people of purpose. The labyrinth of deceit, lies, mis/disinformation, corruption has no end. The people that currently run this stinking, sinking ship called “Amerika,” are obnoxious, loathsome, full of cunning chicaneries, malicious through-and-through! Their attitude about the “Open Border Crisis” is one of Laissez-Faire. They are Biden’s avant-garde soldiers, the thought police who enforce what their boss dictates. Democracy is a misnomer – DEMONocracy is what we have... convolution, twisting of the United States of America into the United Snakes of Amerika. Well done! The U.S. Constitution was written/designed to allow “the people” to live under one set of values & principles, liberty & life.

America was to be a CULTure, a distinct CULTure where the citizens had freedom of religion & speech, a culture that had checks & balances, a culture built upon Biblical principles, a culture of honesty, trust, & a contributive spirit that emanates good corporate governance. It allows potential & self-development. Godly principles & values were applicable for everyone, not evil principles & values as we see today.

It was GOD that this new-born nation had in mind, not some “god,” but THE LIVING GOD of the Bible: “Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD...” - Ps. 33:12. And, so, America has been blessed. But we can admit (sadly!) that America is not so blessed today – she is under a CURSE. But this evil, destructive curse can be broken if we turn from our evil ways & turn back to Him again. Turning around WILL make a POSITIVE difference for ourselves, others... the nation.

The characteristics we see coming from the White House, aka “Pink House,” define EVIL not GOOD. A good leader will lead & guide a nation into what is right & profitable (spiritually speaking). But the EVIL flowing from the WH/PH is compared to an overflowing sewer – filth, filth, filth!! The present regime inspires the nation to be dishonest, dirty, disrespectful of the holy, deceitful, hateful toward what is right.

America was a far better place when leaders put to practice what the Bible teaches. Preachers were better leaders when they practiced what they preached. Now, many churches are no better than “glorified whorehouses.” The Bible that once was allowed & read in classrooms has become UNWELCOME, even HATED! It used to be read by politicans who desired to be good leaders of the people, for guidance & inspiration. It persuasively showed them that Bible reading developed personal & collective effectiveness to rule. Millions wanted to come to our shores because we were a “Christianized” nation. Bible reading will produce integrity, character, work ethics, & honorable determination to be a better person. The Bible can/does open the eyes of the BLIND world, liberating the CAPTIVES with liberating TRUTHS... making the (spiritually) POOR incalculably rich in potential possibilities. The Bible is a spiritual roadmap for a principled/Christ-centered life.

Don’t you think it is time to REBEL AGAINST HELL? Do it!!! Aren’t you sick & tired of living (existing) in the “Suffocation of Defecation?” The political “CRAP” that is flowing out of the Demoncratic Party’s sewer is overwhelming. It carries disease & death! It is time dear friends to FIX the problem in order to heal our land.

David once wrote: “ARISE, O LORD, in Your ANGER; Life Yourself us because of the RAGE of my enemies...” - Ps. 7:6. Let us pray to our God, “Bring us out of our distresses! Look on our affliction & our pain, & forgive all our sins... keep our soul, & deliver us; Let us not be ashamed, for we put our trust in you. Let integrity & uprightness preserve us, for we wait for you. Redeem America, O God, out of all our sore & stinking troubles! Amen.

the Suffocation in Defecation? Part 2

The political CRAP is eyeball deep. The Stink is suffocating. Why so? Because America has left off giving attention to God’s Word(s); she has opened her national legs up to fornication with DEMONS! Proverbs 4 tells us, “Do not enter the path of the wicked, & do not walk in the way of evil. Avoid it, do not travel on it; Turn away from it & pass on... For they (foolish) eat the bread of wickedness & drink the wine of violence.” - Prov. 4:14-17. America has not only strayed from the straight & narrow (including many Churches) but has set up camp in the “camp of the wicked,” eating & drinking, vomiting & crapping.

The author of Proverbs continues: “... give attention to my words (which come from God Himself); incline your ears to my sayings... keep them in the midst of your heart; for they are LIFE to those who find them, & health to all their flesh. Keep your heart with all diligence...put away from you a deceitful mouth...” -Prov. 4:20-14. What America has done & is currently doing is the antithesis of what we’re reading.

Even many, too many Churches have gone sin-crazy, joining the PC/woke perverts who love sin & hate righteousness. We have bashed, trashed, crashed all the things that made America a sought-after haven. The question, “What is America becoming?” should be, “What has America become?” The humanitarian crisis is more than a crisis, it is a CATASTROPHE; the worse kind. The left/far left et al. are busy trashing the fundamental beliefs, doctrines, principles that made America great... fundamental beliefs that had guided America from her founding into preeminence among nations. Why do you think nations want to come here? But now, what they find is exactly what they escaped!

America’s moral fabric is soiled, stinking, covered over with defecation. Oh, the horrid smell!!!

True democracy is being replaced with evil socialism/communism et al. (see articles on S/C et al.)

There are books about rediscovering what made “America Great.” But we’ve got to go beyond reading – for what we’re facing needs to be challenged – a revolution! The “tough love” cure was replaced with a “pink effeminate” kind of love (LGBTQ+ stuff). Racism has become the favorite “weapon” to slay the “America First” folks with. The left/far left et al. are busy rewriting America’s history – not that we had such a pristine history. Oh, no, there were greedy, murderous fiends who did not count human life worth saving (e.g. Native Americans). But, overall, there were those who cherished human life & wanted the best for them. The current regime is deceitfully executing orders to imprison & destroy those whom it deems UNFIT to live.

“America the Great” is not so “great” today. It is dying of suffocation under the weight of political CRAP. America is a relatively new nation, unlike many nations of the world...we are following (inexorably) the same self-destructive course that led to the RUIN of other nations. God has told us that He had destroyed many nations (ones we are now digging up!) because of their sins.

We want to soften the truth-of-the-matter with saying missteps instead of sins.

If the 13 colonies rebelled for CHANGE – and they did, in order to become the “United States” - it is our turn to rebel for change to take the evil regime away from those who hold it as a POW... putting God back at the center of our national life. If we can’t accomplish this by a non-violence means, at least we as Christians can do our best to witness to those who are bound by evil men/women/politics - even religion itself.

The U.S. Church has not ferociously guarded this nation by prayers & witness. Oh no, those in ecclesiastical authority joined with those of the politically correct/woke camp, known euphemistically as the “Cancel Culture.” These narcissistic assailants have become the White House, aka “Pink House” warriors that are not afraid to steal, kill, & destroy!

This is not incredulous – it is true. History tells us that America got off to an auspicious start centuries ago because its citizens were UN-willing to be herded like lambs & sheep by a malevolent elite group of leaders. Americans did not like the idea of being “controlled” by men & women that had megalomania disease, i.e. delusion of grandeur or power.

"We The People” has become irrelevant in today’s Amerika. WE are viewed as domestic terrorists by the U.S. gov. We are GUILTY before proven INNOCENT. But was America intended to be a democracy? Actually, America was meant to be a Republic. James Madison, in The Federalist Papers, stated that “a government which derives all its powers directly or indirectly from the great body of the people, & is administered by persons holding their offices during pleasure for a limited period, or during good behavior. It is essential to such a government that it be derived from the great body of the society, not from an inconsiderable proportion as a favored class of it; otherwise a handful of tyrannical nobles (Biden’s regime!), exercising their oppression by a delegation of their powers, might aspire... and claim for their government the honorable title of republic.” (see Federalist Papers, NO. 39, p.241)

In short, if the new USA was to survive & flourish down thru the centuries, it would need a way – THE WAY – to prevent the abuse of power – as we see in today’s gov. Biden/Harris wants to create, not a democracy nor republic, but Magical Kingdom of “Away” - away with personal rights & privileges. Hello Grim Reaper! The spinning of this “Away” fantasy is growing. I personally do not believe it will become THE WAY of NEW America – someday, someday the masses will rebel like HELL!!! Are you ready for revolution?

Falling, falling, falling, America is falling! She has already fallen in soooo many ways, but the fall is not complete. Some are predicting a TOTAL COLLAPSE. As I write, some democratic run cities are at wits end with the influx of immigrants. They have run out of money & are now begging the feds to bail them out. Well, it was and is the dem party that has caused this WOE, not the GOP. It has been the GOP that has been sounding the alarm: “CLOSE THE BORDERS!!!” That old fool who plays POTUS is doing this by design. Again, remember what Solomon wrote: “An unjust man is an abomination to the righteous (i.e. ones trying to do what is right), & he who is upright in the way (the right way) is an abomination to the wicked.” - Prov. 29:27.

Some call me “Alarmist,” “Cultist” and other choice names because I’m just too negative & espouse fear & not faith. Well, if you were to read many of my 1980/1990 articles (& preachings /teachings - DVD/video), you will discover that what I cried out against back then has now become a reality. The Churches back then tried to SHUT us up about what was coming & what would happen if we did not protest. I predicted (along with my wife) many things that the government would do. It was the Holy Spirit that anointed & appointed us to do what we did...& are still doing. We were to “Cry aloud, spare not; Lift up your voice like a trumpet; Tell thy people – their transgression, & the house of Jacob their sins.” - Isa. 50:1 (see Mic. 3:8 also) Paul in his epistle to the Corinthians gave a similar statement: “For if the trumpet makes an uncertain sound, who will prepare for battle?” - 1 Cor. 14:8. Trumpets were used in the old days for many reasons: War was one of them. There was a certain sound made for alarm, charge, retreat etc. The modern church (with exceptions) blew the trumpet for gathering (fun in the Son!), too many times for retreat! but has yet sounded the “Charge the ranks of the enemy!”

I said way back in the 1970s that the day would come when the “Church” would condone the LGBTQ movement, same-sex unions/marriages would become accepted & protected by “law” and following this would come the acceptance of transgenderism et al. sex-sins. Was I right? Was I wrong in sounding the “Battle Cry?” Read my articles. I also predicted that Marxism would gain ground, setting up camp in both gov. & church. Was I right or wrong? In fact, our ministry publication was called “Battle Cry,” later changing it to “Battle Cry Sounding.” This publication was published up until our (me & my wife’s) arrest in Aug. 2017. WE have not published anything since that day (Aug. 20th). Read about the year of persecution we went thru in order to sound the “ALARM.” This article is an “ALARM” article. Will you hear or reject the message? (I started publishing after May 4, 2023, the year I got out of prison.)

It was Frenchman Alexis de Tocqueville who penned “... Not until I went into the Churches of America & heard her pulpits flame with righteousness did I understand the secret of her genuis & power. America is GREAT because America is GOOD, & if America ever ceases to be GOOD, America will cease to be GREAT!” (Federes, America’s God & Country, 206 (source quote p.746). I’m sure you’ve heard or read this quote before. MAGA supporters spout it often. (“Make America Great Again”). Tocqueville wrote this in Democracy in America (google him). What he was saying, the Churches he visited were ON FIRE for “God & Country.” Well, we still have a few that are but I dare say most are smoking coals at best. Many over the half century have jumped in bed with the World (esp. the LGBTQ+) & become impregnated with DEMON SEED, hence, BASTARD children!!! Now many Churches have practicing homosexual /lesbian /bisexuals /transgenders /and other QUEER & STRANGE things twisting (convoluting) God’s Word (transmogrifying).

What has happened & continues to happen bewilders many – dems, GOP, et al. The far left has hijacked the DP. Thank God many on the dem side are seeing thru all this PC/woke BS, but too little too late. The far left/DP are trying to KILL the goose that laid the Golden Egg. Stealth socialism has crept into the gov./church changing the goals/values of America. Now we basically have communistic regime although not called that (see my articles on socialism/comm.). Just in a few short decades it is almost incomprehensible what has transpired in the “land of the free and home of the brave.” Some believe (falsely) that capitalism, communism, socialism & the church can dwell peacefully together. Listen to what the author of Proverbs says: “Can one go upon hot coals & his feet not burned?” - Prov. 6:28. Before this little but powerful piece of truth, he wrote, “can a man take fire in his bosom & his clothes not be burned?” - v.27.

So, can a Christian agree with communism/socialism (or any other “ism”) and not suffer the effects of them? Putting it another way: can a Christian agree with the LGBTQ+ camp and God not agreeing with it? (see my articles on sexual perversions). Yet, the contemporary church has done just this. Are we to agree with the current government – enforced equality. If one refuses, they are put into the category of “hate crime.” One author had it right when he wrote, “since Americans are by nature individualistic & entrepreneurial, by definition, then, the socialist/communistic program is anti-American, to say nothing of totalitarian.” Socialism/Communism is an old dream. In reality, they are frightening nightmares when put into practice, millions & millions have died under their “peaceful” banner.

So, who & what do we serve? It is easy for me to answer: the Lord Jesus Christ. If we steadfastly RESIST the evil powers that are in rule, we can & will see changes for the better. True, you may suffer persecution, even prosecution & prison time (as we have), but, as Peter said in Acts 5:29, “We MUST OBEY GOD rather than men.” WE obey men only when they obey God. Trust me, this will ANGER the authorities be they local, state, or federal. (I’m not advocating physical violence).

America is in a moral dilemma: The people want to be good U.S. citizens but if they agree or keep many policies/laws, they will be moral lawbreakers. God has certain moral laws that have never been abrogated – they are eternal. Even agreeing/condoning abortion is agreeing with MURDER! The same goes for many things that are currently in place that violate the eternal law/laws of God – the LawGiver. While ignorance can be excused, I hardly think that this nation is ignorant of what I write. Issues, immoral/unethical issues have been debated & debated, so ignorance can’t be acceptable right now. What the present regime is doing is SORDID! IMMORAL! SHAMEFUL! SINFUL!

Now, America, has drug us into another war (well, several wars in the Middle East.) Are these wars based on national interests or defense? NO! They are to protect foreign borders. HA! Sleepy, creepy Joe won’t even secure our own borders. Ho Hum! He is purposely allowing enemies of the U.S. to cross over into our nation, not to mention the Millions (capitol “M”) who have come across illegally. Talk about TREASON! Talk about a purposed/planned invasion! I’m all for folks coming in, but they need to come in legally. And, Americans are steaming mad over the fact that these illegals receive first-class treatment, even over those who went thru the right channels, even over those who are U.S. citizens for decades. This is what pisses off the nation under Biden/Harris.

Washington D.C. (“District of Corruption”) has become a nation within a nation under Biden/Harris. There are some real patriots/Christians that work on the “Hill.” Sadly, too many Un-American folks work there also...undermining the U.S. constitution & laws of the land. They are a sick bunch of “demon seed.” It is hard to be a real patriot under Biden, as it was under the Clintons & Obamas. And I found Bush 2 rather repulsive as well. One has to be a psychology major to figure out what-is-what in today’s political circus.

Beside the political divide, we have the religious divide: Islam is also at work/war trying to disrupt & dismantle (see my articles on Islam). According to them, a peaceful coexistence is not possible. Well, let me put my two cents worth in: Christianity cannot coexist (Biblically) with Islam: Islam is UN-godly & immoral. It is anti-Jew /anti-Christian /anti-all other religions. Period! According to the Muslim religion, all peoples are infidels, no exceptions. On the other hand, our Holy Bible says all men are LOST without Christ. The difference between Islam & Biblical Christianity is that Muslims are commanded to Hate/kill non-Muslims: the Christian is commanded to love their enemies & pray for their conversion – not use force as have Muslims thru the centuries. (note: the Crusades done by “Christians” were not true Biblical Christians but Roman Catholics under the command of Popes).

We are a nation driven to MADNESS! And we can’t blame the gov. for all this. NO! Individuals are also guilty of perversion, greed, consumption, racism, etc., etc. But when you’ve got a corrupt gov., things go south very quickly. Need proof? Look around you. The America I grew up in is not the same America I live in today. Every bad element has grown totally out of control. Some say we’re headed for a “NUKE” showdown, a 3rd WW, a 2nd civil war, blah, blah, blah. We are being poisoned to death – in food, water, air, earth. Homelessness & helplessness is totally out of control. I need not mention all the ills that Americans suffer from. Is all this God’s will? Hardly. True, He has allowed it because this nation did not want to be “preached” at. It is on a fast track to HELL & BELOW!!!

Back to Alexis de Tocquevillis quote, “America is great because America is good, & if America ever ceases to be good, America will cease to be great,” was also said by Prez Abe Lincoln. Are we a good & great nation today?

Who is in control? It has been asked, who controls those who control us? Good question. While the Prez may be the visible “controller” he is a mere puppet. I’m not getting into a deep dark conspiracy here, but we should know there are “dark forces” at work.

What we do know is over time a great deal of bureaucracy has been added to the gov. in order to CONTROL corruption. But, under the Biden regime much of the current bureaucracy has been weaponized against “We the people,” the FBI for one. Corrupt as HELL! The whole justice system has been compromised. Thousands have been arrested/jailed/imprisoned under false pretenses (my wife & I are just two. In fact, over a dozen ACMTC members have been arrested & jailed; some little insignificant charges were made, in our case over 18 felonies against us!) This was done by the State, not the feds.

Another question raised is “how reliable are our freedoms?” Depends on what side one is on. If on the GOP side expect the worst; if on the dem side expect better handling of things. We’ve become a nation CONTROLLED by politics rather than fairness. Intimidation has become a “weapon of choice” these days. If one can’t be intimidated, hurl the “racism” weapon at them or “child abuse” at them.

Liberty for all? Get serious! Freedom of speech, press, religion has been under attack for a long long time. If one belongs to the left/democratic party, one is most likely to get fair treatment (compare the Black Lives Matter/Antifa et al. with the Jan. 6th patriots, which is now being investigated by the House. So far, they have found that the FBI had a lot to do with the “assault” of the U.S. Capitol several years ago. In short, it was the anti-Trumpers who planned & executed that “assault.”)

We ask, “why did the State of NM make up false charges against me & my wife?” (in which she was sentenced to 72 years!!!) Was it because we knew a lot about what was being done in “secret” by many in power?

What’s good about America? Not much under Joe Biden. But this could change – hopefully it will! America is Trillions in debt. What is good about this? Nothing.

I know this: there are multitudes in this once great nation that have been used & abused by the U.S. gov. There are multitudes that are worn & torn & in need of love & rest to their souls. This nation has been thru its share of bashings & crashings & needs restoration. However, I do not believe that it is ready to come together as ONE nation UNDER God. It would be nice, but I don’t think it is ready or has the collective will to do so.

What I do think & know is that Christ Jesus desires repentance – from the top down. He desires for this nation to come back to Him in humility. I always pray the prayer found in 2 Chron. 7:14, what I call the “if”/ “then” prayer: “If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, & pray and seek My face, & turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, & will forgive their sin & heal their land.” [note: the “if”/ “then” clause is also found in vv.17-20].

In vv.12-22, the certainty of divine mercy/healing & the certainty of retribution are juxtaposed. See 12:6,7,8,12 where we see that, “...the leaders of Israel & the king HUMBLED themselves & said, ‘The LORD is just.’ When the LORD saw that they HUMBLED themselves, this Word of the LORD came to Shemaiah: ‘Since they have HUMBLED themselves, I will NOT DESTROY them but soon give them DELIVERANCE. My wrath will not be poured out on JerUSAlem through Shishak. They will, however, become subject to him, so that they may learn the difference between serving Me & serving the kings of other lands...” Because Rehoboam HUMBLED himself, the LORD’s anger turned from him, & he was not totally DESTROYED. Indeed, there was some good in Judah.”

You see, a HUMBLE heart – through REPENTANCE – will turn away God’s anger. If you read many prophetic Words we’ve posted at Jesuscallstoall.com , you’ll get my point I’m trying to make. If this nation keeps refusing to repent, His wrath will only increase. All these painful things that are upon the land are the result of us as a nation going a-whoring after other gods. The U.S. gov. is a BIG EVIL god! The leaders of this nation – local/state/federal - need to humble themselves & repent & do what is right. As it stands, the “Top Brass” is a terror to this nation. The Bible tells us that all authority is derived from God, not man, (Rom. 13:1). Paul says that “...rulers are not (to be) a TERROR to good works, but to evil,” -v.3 But, under Biden, the opposite is true. Religious & political rulers are supposed to be subject to God... for the good of individuals & nations. (see my article “God or Government” - new). Just who CONTROLS America? Surely not God, but evil persons working clandestinely.

You see, evil conspiracies are nothing new; conspirators are nothing new. Conspire is nothing new (look these 3 “C” words up in a concordance. There are about 30 references, only one found in the NT = Acts 23:13, “conspiracy.”) We have evil conspirators within the U.S. gov. Matrix that hatch evil machinations & execute the same if possible.

The “Shadow Gov.” is one big nest of demons that work/war against what is good & honorable. They plan & execute political /religious /social /racial et al. types of TURMOIL... too often resulting in lots of bloodshed. “Red Flag OPS” is common. Their ability to make some monumental changes undetected is a testament to their ability to deceive. The politicians we see working are usually controlled by such hidden persons; few I believe are free of them. Homeland Security was created to be a SPY network. “Big Bro” watches us, sets us up, takes us down, turns us around & around. He (they) infringe upon our privacy, not giving a DAMN whatsoever. Who controls “Big Bro?” Who polices “Big Bro?” “Big Bro” is all too willing (and able) to push barbarous activities, blaming them on whoever or whatever.

God has told us through the years that we’ve (the USA) wanted evil, so He allows evil to prevail. (read our older Words of the Spirit pubs.). Insidious evils done by man; physical evils done by God (see Isa. 45:7 – which I’ve taught many lessons from). Our nation’s cup runneth over – full of filth, vomit, etc. We love to drink from the cup of DECEIT. We do not want TRUTH enough to fight for it.

How long will we allow Political Correctness & wokeism to rule over us? One concerned author has asked, “Will we as Americans, accustomed to freedom, continue to sheepishly submit to the purveyors of political correctness without recognizing its erosive effects on our freedoms?” Good question.

Can we Christians continually say, “We believe” without acting? What is it that we Americans/Christians feel passionately about but are never fighting for? FEAR! This is the BIG EVIL ENEMY that people are afraid of. FEAR mongering sells too. The purveyors of fear have remedies for sale – a book, a DVD, some means of protection... something that the fearful will buy to feel secure...but not enough to turn one’s life WHOLLY/TOTALLY over to Jesus.

Before I close, I want to read Isa. 45:7 out of the Amp. Bible: “I form the light & create darkness; I make peace [national wellbeing] (Moral evil proceeds from the will of men, but physical evil proceeds from the will of God,) and I create [physical] evil – calamity; I am the Lord, Who does all these things.”

The evil God creates is: Hebrew, Strong’s #7451 = ra’ = “adversity, affliction, badness, grief, harm, hurt, mischief, misery, sore, sorrow, trouble, vex, wickedness, wretchedness;” see also râ'âh/râ'a' = "to spoil, (lit. by breaking to pieces); fig. to make good-for-nothing, afflict, displease, do harm, to hurt, to punish, to vex, do worse.” The word re’a’ (Chaldee) means “to break or to bruise.”

In short, God uses “evil” to punish men for their evil(s). Have you noticed how much physical “evil” has increased over the years? It is God trying to catch our attention that we need to STOP what we’re doing. Sin against God will bring “evil” unto us.

The Eagle! Beautiful, graceful. Is it any wonder why this great bird was chosen to be America’s symbol? – It represents & symbolizes strength, courage, & freedom. The wings, the “left” & the “right” = balance of power. (see Isa. 40:31).

Isn’t it insane to push communism when it has murdered/killed multiplied millions over the years. Yet we have those in power who are subtly pushing this murderous ideology as something to be desired (see my articles on this “great evil”). The left wingers want the non-left wingers to embrace this crock of crap! If you do not embrace it, then at least tolerate it. Really? They sure in Hades will not embrace nor tolerate the right wing. No sir! In fact, they are raising HELL right now over what the MAGA folks are saying & doing. Big crybabies! Go to your room!

What we need today is something workable, logical, not political. We need God! Since He is the Creator of life, it is logical to go to Him for life. We need to STOP building upon sand & build upon The Rock of Ages. If not, America will continue to SINK in the political STINK of the D.C. SWAMP. Amen!

The Kiss That Can Change the World

What’s in a kiss? “Every man shall kiss his lips that giveth a right answer.” -Prov. 24:26

Different Bible versions word vs. 26 differently but the principle remains the same. Let us explore the background of this “kiss” text. Let me start out with the NIV: “These are sayings of the wise: To shew partiality in judging is not good (i.e. being biased): whoever says to the guilty, ‘you are innocent’ - people will curse him (or her), but it will go well with those who convict the guilty, & rich blessing will come upon them. An honest answer is like a KISS on the lips.” -vv.23-26, NIV

This article is rather hard to write about, esp. in today’s world, more specifically here in the U.S. The “Great Divide/Division” between the political, i.e. GOP vs Dems/Visa Versa – such HATRED! Truth is literally hated, esp. by the Left and others. We have at this time in history a civil war, the democratic party vs. the republican party. The same goes for the religious, the sexes, the races etc. This WHOLE Nation has become an Abomination!

There was a time –in the day- when TRUTH was worthy of fighting for (lit. or fig.). It was the basic foundation upon which all America sat. The Holy Bible was THE Book that we basically looked to for TRUTH & LIFE. One laid his/her hand upon it & SWORE to tell the TRUTH, the WHOLE TRUTH, so help us God! Now, this is no longer true; one can “swear” upon the Qu’ran or any other book or not swear at all.

But to my point: In the current fight (in courts/congress etc.) the demon of BIAS (i.e. partiality) has become an issue, if not the issue between the warring factions. Proverbs mentions partiality before here in 24:23: “It is not good to be partial to the wicked or to deprive the innocent of justice.” -Prov. 18:5 (read vv.6-8). We can even go back to Prov. 17:15, “Acquitting the guilty & condemning the innocent – the LORD detests them both.” Bribes & threats have become common in today’s courts, hence, by many the truth is murdered! Verse 8 of Chapter 17 says, “...A BRIBE is a CHARM to the one who gives it; wherever he turns, he succeeds.”

The Kiss

Just what does Prov. 24:26 mean? “Every man shall kiss his lips that giveth a right answer.” To give a right (honest) answer is rooted & grounded in v.21: “My son, fear thou the LORD & the king: & meddle not with them that are given to change.” I have written hundreds of articles since I’ve been a believer on this subject -starting with how the LGBTQ movement, being sympathetic (false love), then accepting, then inviting practicing LGBTQ+ folks into their midst-” no repentance needed, love covers you.” Really? ONLY by & THROUGH heart repentance is a person saved. Period!

Meddle

The NIV has “do not join with the rebellious” (v.21); the NKJV has “do not associate with those given to change;” The Amplified Bible & others tell us not to associate with those given to change, i.e. of allegiance, & are revolutionary. ( In a bad sense).

Both Church & State have CHANGED many laws/principles etc. over the years in order to make crime, rebellion, sin etc. more acceptable. Now look at the God-awful state of this nation: ABOMINATION!!!

While we’re to honor those in power, we are not to honor those who are abusing their power (see my article on “Who do we obey – God or gov?”) We are to honor, first of all, God, for He is the creator of the law (moral); and we’re to obey those in office IF they are obeying His moral law/laws (which is hardly the case today). Divine- honor/respect first. Civil-honor/respect secondly, in this order.

The Hebrew reads: “in shonim al titharab:” “And with the changelings mingle not thyself.” We’re not to associate with any of those who are innovators; those who are always for making religious/social/political etc. experiments. (In a bad way).

(Please take heed to the prophetic Word of the Spirit, read and listen at (JesusCallsToAll.Com -- given 2/18/24 by General Deborah Green called “Conquer Fear by Faith;”), this WOS is pertinent for today, NOW! The most DANGEROUS/DEMONIC spirit (or spirits) can & do infect the human body, soul & spirit/national body, soul & spirit. These spirits do not reverence the things of God or man. They are OUTLAWS from HELL!

There was a time when this nation honored the upright & dishonored the lawbreakers. My, my, my how things have CHANGED. We now honor the perverts/lawless (with exceptions). Judgment & justice should never be perverted, yet in Today’s Church & State both are perverted.

Verse 26, “Kiss his lips that giveth a right (true) answer.” In other words, treat him/her with affection & respect. This is missing today. Cursing & disrespect is the order of the day. Use the “F” word as much as possible. Degrade, defile, disrespect any and all who do not agree with your twisted/convoluted ideas, philosophies, schemes of evil.

Meddle Not!

The old saying, “Don’t stick your nose in others’ affairs” has its time & place. But, it goes without saying, we who are of the Christian faith must remind others what God’s Word says... without bias or fear. Hebrews scholars say about the word “meddle” CRSV, with the LXX, “disobey,” possibly reads the verbal word ‘ābhar instead of 'ārabh. "Given to change:” The RSV, with LXX, reads shenêhem for shônîm & renders either (both) of them. The KJV means that one should not associate with those who are of a “revolutionary” character, whether in religions or politics. Of course, the “Rev.” Spirit they talk about is demonic, not divine. Jesus Himself was a true Spirit Revolutionary & His True people ought to be the same. We are commanded to “Rebel Against Hell!”

Vv.23-26 warns against partiality in the court (be they religious or secular). “Have respect of persons in judgement.” I’ve watched some of the court trials the Left/Democratic party has put former prez Trump through – unadulterated bias. They lie & cheat in order to beat him into submission to their SICK commie way of seeing & doing. Hypocrites & character assassins! When a republican is put under oath they are demanded to “tell the truth or else!!!” The wicked are called righteous & the righteous are called wicked.

Oh, do we live in evil times.

The phrase “kiss the lips” was a sign of true friendship (remember the deceit Judas used when he kissed Jesus in order to have Him arrested (see Mt. 26:49). Judas was pretending to be a loyal follower of Jesus but in truth was under the spell of a demon. Jesus said to Judas, “are you betraying the Son of man with a kiss?” -Lk.22:48. Proverbs says, “Faithful are the wounds of a friend, but the kisses of an enemy are deceitful.” -27:6

Luke 22:3 tells us that Satan entered into Judas. What? Can a disciple of Jesus be demon possessed? Can a Christian be demonized (not possessed by or exercised by a demon or demons? See my study on this neglected subject – it will surprise you!)

So, a kiss can be a sign of both loyalty & deceit. We see & hear a lot of this in today’s political/religious setting. (see also SOS 4:11; 5:1). One Heb. scholar made the interesting suggestion that the verb nâshaq may be used here in the post biblical sense of “to equip,” “to arm,” & so figuratively, “to equip the lips” with knowledge, or some word like it which seems to have dropped out here (see Ps. 78:9; 1 Chron.12:2; 2 Chron.17:17, where the word is used in this sense).

The Kiss

When a kiss is made, the one kissing & the one kissed are connected. Christianity, not Churchianity, must be rooted & grounded in Justice & truth. It is the duty of each & every believer to strive to be true, loyal, honest & faithful to the government of God. Yet today this is not remotely true. Both Chruch & State have gone their own way (of the flesh), leaving a few here & there to keep the faith. This nation –RIGHT NOW- is being invaded by demons of every kind. Crime is totally OUT OF CONTROL. The kiss of deceit is in every sphere of this nation; the kiss of death is taking its toll. Criminals are let out of jail after arrest with no bail in many cities (esp. in NYC), only to commit new crimes, even murder. America has never been this bad. It is time that we give God the kiss of allegiance. We must once again call “sin sin” & give the right answers. Enough of lies & deceit. We must kiss the Son and repent of our evil doings. If not, evil will only compound itself.

Proverbs 6:16-19 puts forth 7 abominations that the LORD HATES:, all of which we see working 24/7/365 here in Amerika.

"The righteous should choose his friends carefully, for the way of the wicked leads them astray." (Prov.12:26);

"Hell & Destruction are before the LORD; So how much more the hearts of the Sons of men.'' (Prov.15:11).

A Purge Coming?

There is much talk about a governmental purge coming to this nation. I’ve been hearing it for well over 30-40 years now. Back in the 1990’s we were sent our share of articles/faxes/phone calls (no cell phones or internet outlets like we’ve got today) from dozens & dozens of concerned organizations, militias, conservative churches, political activists et al. all concerned about how this gov. (America) is doing things, especially when the Clintons & the Obamas were in power (note: there are many right now who believe that B. Obama & the Clinton still rule the White House, telling “sleepy Joe” how to run this nation. I might add, “Who are their handlers?). If you’ve followed us over the years, read our articles/watched our videos & DVDs, you’ll see that we have been aware of the political/social/religious goings on.

We have explored the many ways & means the anti-constitutional Republic/anti-Biblical/anti-Christian forces worked. We have tried our best to WARN this nation that these evil malevolent forces are bent on DESTROYING the United States by forming a new USA: United Socialist America, aka United Snakes of Amerika – a Homo-Marxian nation. In short, Socialism /Communism undertakes to replace Judaic-Christian morals with a complete ABSENCE of godly morals (see my articles on communism). The “finished” product, according to Marx/Engels, is to get a people or nations to believe they had no creator (God) & have no purpose or reason for existing except as an incidental accumulation of accidental forces in nature: the State becomes “God”. Our minds & hearts become subordinate to the New World Order, hence, a new Marxist man/woman filled with ideological fantasia... reversing the direction of history. Are you ready for this?

As I write, the SNAKE in the White House slithers Maniacally here & there poisoning the minds & hearts of “We the People.”

The Purge

In order to establish this New World Order there must be a “purge.” People are not going to just be told what to do; they will be forced! If one studies history you’ll find this is so. Study the creation of Marxism/Leninism (one can research their writings). Marx/Engels/Lenin were the brains behind Communism (“C”);

Joseph Stalin (originally named Djugashvili (b. 1879) was the enforcer. He was also known as Iosif Vissarionovich (d. 1953). Stalin was a Soviet political leader; named General Secretary of the Communist Party in 1922. After Lenin’s death in 1924, he gradually ELIMINATED political rivals in a series of purges culminating in the great trials of 1936-1938. His original family name was Dzhugashivli (also spelled Djugashvili;) revolutionary party name was Koba.

When Stalin started his “purges,” he put forth 6 conditions (1931) for construction/destruction. He wrote about moving from a policy of “destruction” of the old intelligentsia to a policy of concern for it, of making use of it. The BIG picture was to “destroy” the “old order” & create a “new order.” To accomplish this, the interrogation apparatus of the GPU (Soviet secret police; acronym for Russian words meaning State Political Admin.). Charges were either falsified or were real against the State, hence, trials & prison time or death! Tens of thousands were executed by firing squads: he had ex-leaders murdered as well. No one was safe under Stalin’s regime.

U.S. spy for Russia, Whittaker Chambers (W.C.) wrote: “The great PURGE was in the most literal sense a MASSACRE!... This great MASSACRE, probably the greatest in history, was deliberately planned & executed... those killed have been estimated from several hundred thousand to several million men & women. (this is not counting those starved to death = millions). W.C. continued, “The process took about three years, 1935-1938.”

In 1938 W.C. broke with Communism & broke with being part of the Russian espionage system. He was replaced by Elizabeth Bentley (who spied in the D.C. area of the U.S.).

Apropos

Apropos of the orthodox Communists, Stalin was necessary, wrote Aleksandr I. Solzhenitsyn (A.I.S.) in his book The Gulag Archipelago 1918-1956. He writes that a Party like that was necessary, for the Party had unfaithful men/women that were not totally in step with “Stalinism,” hence, they needed to be PURGED! I’ve said it for years that Communism is a cannibalistic system. A.I.S. writes that all the big Bolsheviks, who wear martyrs’ halos, managed to be executioners of other Bolsheviks (who were murderers of non-commies).

If one studies the detailed history of the arrest/trials of 1936-1938, the principal REVULSION one feels is not against Stalin per se, but against the humiliatingly repulsive defendants – nausea at their spiritual baseness after their former pride & implacability, writes Solzhenitsyn.

Drawing on his own experience, Solzhenitsyn concludes that the secret police are the vital element of the Soviet regime ever since being founded by comrade Lenin. A.I.S. spent 11 years in labor camps & exile.

As I write this, the Biden regime has the F.B.I. & other agencies in his back pocket. The House grillings prove this to be true. In their investigations/hearings over the past year plus has proven to the American public that there is a bias/hatred against the GOP-MAGA people – Christians (esp. the RCC) - against true patriots & conservatives et al. If the democratic party stays in power, I’m afraid this nation will see & experience what other nations experienced under a communist regime (see my articles on Communism).

What do you think political correctness /progressivism /wokeism is all about? (see the 45 goals of the Communist party to take over America). What America has developed over the past decades is “American Communism.”

Can we deny that a new culture has arisen out of the old? Can we deny that race/sex etc. have been used as weapons in the hands of the Democratic Party?

Suppress the old order (that was under godly morals/ethics;)

Create a new order for the development & the victory of the “revolution;”

Consolidate the “unity” of the new order in support of the Dictatorship;

Establish this New Order as the better way of life – a life without Christ.

Suppress Christianity or eliminate it altogether if possible! Degrade the Holy Bible which contains moral/ethical teachings:

Infiltrate the Churches & replace revealed religion with ‘social’ religion.

Discredit the Bible & emphasize the need for intellectual maturity which does not need a ‘religious crutch.’” (Communism goal #27). Following goal 27 we read:

Eliminate prayers or any phase of religious expression in the schools on the grounds that it violates the principle of ‘separation of Church & state.’” (goal #28).

Prayer/Bible reading was outlawed but has been challenged over the decades. In some schools, victories have been won. To counter this the government now allows “drag queens” to teach the children; sexually explicit books etc. have been allowed in schools to teach the children about what only adults should know, which brings me to Communism goal #26:

Present homosexuality, degeneracy & promiscuity as ‘normal, natural, & healthy.’” (note: homosexuality was once classified as a MENTAL DISORDER by the American psychiatric association.) Now it is praised (LGBTQ+) as a better lifestyle. HA!, DEATHSTYLE is what it is! Pro-family/pro-God have become enemies of the “Gay” movement. Who do you suppose has pushed all this PC/Woke crap off onto the U.S. population?

While Russia made laws against LGBTQ+ activities, the U.S. has embraced this movement. You see, old Russia knew very well that sex-sins/crimes would dishonor a nation, hence, promote them so as to use them against your enemy/enemies.

As long as we have an active Church (people with a real & living personal relationship with Christ) in America, the harder it is for the enemy to totally take over. But we will be persecuted /prosecuted /even put in prison (been there) but we never, ever capitulate to the enemy! This WAR we see & hear of is rooted & grounded in the HATRED for revealed religion (i.e. Biblical Christianity). While this WAR is not between flesh & blood (at least not presently), it is a “spiritual” war against the BIG 4 (see Eph. 6:12). The enemy (“Left”) uses the courts, law enforcement, jail/prison to punish those who hold to a higher standard. Character assassins – those who lie/bear false witness are weapons-of-choice these days. (see our PX2 Files/DVDs).

Forgive me if I repeat myself but most people don’t “get it” - America is being transformed into a Socialist/Communistic Culture by propaganda & pretense. The “democracy” the Democratic Party /Left et al. speak of, write about, is not what America stands for. Under the “3B Stooges” the U.S. has been degraded to the point of no return (to sanity). Bill, Barack & Biden have done their best to bring about the collapse of our constitutional Republic.

Bill Clinton & his wife, Barack Obama & now Biden were/are enemies of America. They like those written about in 2 Cor. 11:13,14,15, “For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ. And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. Therefore, it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness...” These “3B Stooges” are false leaders, deceitful leaders, liars, murderers of TRUTH. They have worked against the welfare of the American peoples, not for them; their “end game” is the revolutionary RECONSTRUCTION of our society/culture into RUIN, SLAVERY, godlessness! These “3-B Stooges” believe they, reasoned that they have discovered the inexorable law of history with its self-improving device of sex/race/clan struggle – ELIMINATING the thing (righteousness) which had caused all past conflicts in our society.

If the powers-that-be can actually do away with the Right/conservative/Christian force, they will become the Savior of “democracy.”

The “democracy” of the DP/Left is rooted/grounded in Marxism! These dems in power demand a democratic dictatorship. (why do you think Biden/Harris has an “open border” policy? To get votes for them of course!). The Biden regime is merely using the “illegals” for themselves... hoping they will rebel against the GOP. Big Daddy Biden is giving to the illegals in order to get their support... hoping to keep the Democratic Party in office forever. DUH! The 2024 election will be one to remember. Of course, all this is ILLEGAL in itself. The “Open Border” policy is a strong incentive to flood America with potential DP voters. And to the Biden/Harris regime it does not matter all the HELL their policy causes – the dems thrive on chaos & terror.

Get ready my dear, Americans – all HELL is about to break out (God allowing it!). The END of a Constitutional Republic, the END of the American Dream is about to turn into a frightful BAD DREAM... but the Bad Dream is real!!!

A Purge Is Coming – Pt.2

It is said, “only the first swath cut by the scythe is difficult.”

Stalin (b. 1879) was 11 years old when his alcoholic father died. Since his mother wanted him to be a priest, he was enrolled in a theological seminary at Tillis. He found out that the seminary was plagued with secret societies (some were atheistic – no God!) and some were revolutionary, i.e. Marx/Engels etc. As time progressed Stalin leaned towards REVOLUTION rather than Christian Religion, hence, he became engaged in covert/clandestine organizations within the seminary. (note: now many “Christians” (men) belong to the Masonic Lodges today & other secret societies?)

Stalin was eventually expelled after 3 years (1899) for lack of “religious vocation.”

Q. why wasn’t the seminary PURGED of all the evil within its walls?

So, Stalin became a full-blown Marxist, becoming the principal labor agitator for the Social-Democratic party (nearly the same as the DP of today that is in power at this writing).

Stalin, because of his radicalism was arrested/put in prison (until 1903, finally sentenced to 3 years of exile in (frozen) Siberia). There he became a radical Bolshevik; not seeking the God he knew in the beginning, but “god” of Marx (who also started out in the Christian religion). From then on he became the aide-de-camp to Comrade Lenin. (note: in 1907 Stalin met secretly with Lenin in Berlin). After this meeting he became hardened to criminal activities with NO regard for children/men/women. He was no “intellectual Commie,” no sir, he became ruthless. He also became a proficient revolutionary writer & propagandist.

As time progressed, Stalin became more & more ruthless (the way Satan will lead a person if they have not repented of sins/crimes). After much troubles in life, Stalin determined to consolidate his power by the innovation of Communist spoils system; he had previously recognized only the “workers” class & the “peasants.” It was time to create a new class – the “Commie Bureaucracy,” aka “official class:” take from the people he hated & give to those who were deemed faithful to him & the party. He bestowed favors on them (sound familiar?). He also adopted a series of reforms (which were capitalistic in nature; capitalism was considered “evil” in the Communist Party; hence, hypocrisy!). The “have nots” (like the “illegals” Biden/Harris is “blessing” today while thumbing the nose at U.S. citizens!). Stalin’s policy = stay in power permanently and enjoy the SPOILS of their CONQUEST!

Biden’s (really his “deep state” handlers) reason for not closing the open borders is to cause chaos & to increase numbers that will inflate the DP, hoping to stay in power forever! The consideration of allowing illegals to vote (democratic) is in itself illegal. But comrade Joe doesn’t give a hoot about what is legal & illegal – he is only concerned with staying in power & building a socialist/commie/woke nation whose God is “god.” If you believe otherwise you are fooled. Marxist intent to overthrow the (old) United States by internal subversion has been on the table for years & years.

Q. How soon after the Russian Revolution was Communism launched in the U.S.?

While Commies love Capitalism (they too love “stuff-and-things"), Communism in itself demands commie nations to be capitalistic free. (note: one should read Tragedy & Hope by Carroll Quigley. Author & historian W. C. Skousen (former F.B.I. agent) wrote a review of Tragedy & Hope called The Naked Capitalist (1970). He points out how Quigley presents himself as an “insider” well qualified to tell the story of how the world’s richest people promoted Communism & Socialism. So it is today. Skousen also wrote The Naked Communist & The Naked Socialist – both books prove that Communism is the enemy of freedom, the enemy of Biblical Christianity et al. The U.S. constitution is standing in the way of Communism here in the U.S. But our freedoms none-the-less have been under attack for decades.

Is there such a thing called “prophetic immortality?” The “45 Goals of Communism” is such. (note: these goals were put into the Congressional Record by A.S. Herlong, Jr. (D. Fla.) in 1963). The thrust of these 45 goals was to ATTACK Judeo-Christian underpinnings that had long prospered & protected FREEDOM, & to replace them with Marxist BS, aka “utopian society.” By invasion, indoctrination, & domination, Communism will conquer, so the commies believe.

Well, we all know (by now) that the IID has done its work; Political correctness & wokeism are here to stay... to degrade/defile/destroy all that is good & godly.

The “solution to this Communism pollution is godly REVOLUTION.” Jesus heals; Communism kills!

Apropos

There is a counterpart to this political “purging;” spiritual ‘purging.” The Bible uses names like “purge,” “purged,” “purgeth,” “purging,” etc. (see Heb./Gk. definitions as well as Eng.).

David, in Ps. 51:7 pleads with God “PURGE me with hyssop, & I shall be clean...” (Heb., châtâ') = "purify, repent of sin," etc. There are several other Heb. words like “tâhêr" (2 Chron. 34:38); “kâphar" (Ps. 65:3/79:9/Ez. 43:20); "bâfar" (Ez. 20:38/Dan. 11:35); “zâqaq" (Mal. 3:3), et al.

The Greek word has “diahatharizō," (Mt. 3:12) = “to cleanse perfectly;” “ekkathariō" (1 Cor. 5:7/2 Tim. 2:21) = "to cleanse throughly;” ‘katharizō" (Heb. 9:14,22) = “to cleanse (lit. or fig.), purify (there are many Heb./Gk. words like “purification,” “purifications,” “purified,” “purifiers,” “purifying,” “purity” et al.

So, you see “to PURGE” is important in both the evil & honorable sense: the commies must have their purges; the Christian Church must also have theirs. Sadly, most churches fail to “purge out” those who walk contrary to the teachings of the Bible. Instead, they allow the good, bad, & ugly to reside side-by-side!

The Christian is instructed to “purge out the old leaven, that you may be a new lump...” (1 Cor. 5:7); 2 Tim. 2:21 tells us “...if anyone cleanses (purges) himself from (iniquity, per v.19) ... he will be a vessel for honor... useful... purposed for every good work.” Heb. 9:14 tells us that the Blood of Jesus will “cleanse (purge) your conscience from dead works...” (see also Heb. 1:3/9:22/2 Pet. 1:9).

Jesus in His discourse to His disciples put the “purge” subject like this: “I am the true vine, & My Father is the vine dresser. Every branch in Me that DOES NOT BEAR FRUIT He TAKES AWAY (something most churches refuse to do these days!!!); and every branch that BEARS FRUIT He PRUNES (i.e. purges), that it may bear more fruit.”

Are you ready for the “Sword” that “Cuts?”

“Purge Trials” were called a “massacre” in the USSR back in the day. As stated, even Whittaker Chambers (American spy for the USSR) wrote: “The great PURGE was in the most literal sense a massacre... this great massacre, probably the greatest in history was deliberately planned & executed... Those killed have been estimated from several thousand to several million men & women. The process took about three years, 1935-1938.” (The Naked Communist, p.148).

God’s reason for “purging” is for spiritual growth; the god of Communism’s reason for it is for the same reason – growth in numbers for the “C” party – keeping it clean & pure (in the Satanic sense!)

Which God/god will you, dear reader, adhere to? the “God of Heaven” or the “god of Hell?” The WAR between the Hammer & Sickle & the Cross is ongoing.

In 1972, Michael Wurmbrand, son of the late Richard Wurmbrand (who spent years in Communist prisons for his faith -Jew turned Christian) wrote: “Why does Communism continue to grow? Maybe it is God’s judgment on a flabby Church that will not learn from its martyrs.” Deborah & I were new Christian believers when Michael wrote this. He was right you know. He & his father wrote much about Stalin’s “purges.”

The 60’s Revolution was Communist in purpose & design. We (my wife & I) were part of that Revolution (after I got out of the U.S. Army back in the late 1960’s. See our testimony). Ever since we became born-again, Spirit-filled believers we have spoken out against this “Red Menace,” as well as “Militant Islam” & the “flabby Church.”

It is not time to RETIRE dear believers, it is time to REFIRE! Let the “Sword that Cuts & the Fire that BURNS” do their purging in your lives.
